Okay this might be a sun sign generalization, but I've noticed the Taurus suns I meet are usually from middle class or wealthy families. I've witnessed it with other earth signs, too, but mostly with Taurus suns. I haven't met a Taurus sun that was born in an impoverished family, although I am pretty sure there are some.

In theory, this makes sense since Taurus rules material possessions.

But like, damn.. my 2nd house sun is very jealous.

I've got some Taurus in me, not sun though. Interestingly, as soon as I was born, my family got their first real house, things finally started looking up financially, and I was even born in a ritzy hospital. They didn't become rich, just, became better.

I ain't rollin' in dough, but, I'm okay. I've got a roof, clothing, food on the table, and I'm grateful for that.

the only thing in this life that is worth to be "jealous" about is health, i think most of us know this fact just a remembrance material possessions don't buy good health.

I'm a Taurus Sun. My mom and her family are middle class. Her parents, now deceased, could have been considered wealthy, but I don't know what income my grandparents had so it's hard to say what they were considered. My mom mostly supports an entire household by herself. In practice, this makes it hard to tell that she's middle class. Hopefully, once I am a more established writer, I can potentially help with the financial situation without the restrictions of my presently fixed income. Getting off SSI will be a chore though and this isn't something I'm able to pull off in the immediate future. On my own, from my current source of income being SSI, i'd be very, very poor. Regardless, I definitely did not grow up poor.

While I didn't grow up poor, the state of my mental health leaves much to be desired. As long as I have antidepressants, i'm fine. I am just dependent on medication to function properly. I think good health is more important than money. It's hard to make enough money to survive if your health is in terrible shape.

Oh definitely! I totally agree. This is why all three earth houses complement each other. You cannot be healthy without having material security. You cannot have material security if your reputation and career are not sufficient enough to provide your needs. You cannot be in a position of power without taking care of yourself. It all adds up. Very interesting how it all plays out.

I'm a taurus sun, as is my mother. We weren't well off when we were growing up, but we did okay.

My parents were both from working class families, but both elevated themselves through graduate-level jobs (a nurse, an accountant) - in my father's case, with almost zero school qualifications.

They both hold positions now that would be considered middle-class jobs.

Both my parents were rich in values though. They both grew up in (differing) religious families, and family values were important to both.

Maybe that's where the 'wealth' is in my family.

I've noticed this more so with South Node in the earth signs... but they don't really appreciate what they have. They take it for granted.

Maybe the earth Suns are more appreciative.

My friend grew up from a broken family. She busted her ass to be middle class. After college she lived in my parents basement for two years.

She now has a house with a pool, and is looking for a new house by the lake.

She also has her mars exalted in Capricorn

Not a Taurus Sun but have Taurus SN, Jupiter, MC.
I grew up middle class-sometimes upper class (money was fluctuating). I’m not a wealthy person but suppose I would be considered middle to upper-middle class.
What have have been “wealthy” in though is luck and kinda being on the right place at the right time! Times have looked grim on many occasions but there’s always been a push back from the ledge.

Speaking for my husband’s daughter: on his (our side) same applies as above but her mother is a complete nutcase and can’t keep a job for more than 6 months. She’s been caught stealing, cheating and backstabbing so many times we’ve lost count. She leeches off of as many people as possible and it’s really funny (sad ?) when she can’t keep track of her lies!

The Taurus people I know are not well off. In fact they range in economic background(some are middle class whilst others are lower class).

All of them however are very much aware of how much money they have or don't have.

I liken Taurus to Vulcan(not in looks people) but in the metaphorical sense of having "alchemist" attributes i.e transforming something worthless (through skill and craft) into something that is of value.

So Taurus often (especially when from a background that is deemed "worthless" by society) will work hard to "better" themselves economically.

Not to say that Taurus is a "gold digger". But they don't find doing without the conveniences of life " sexy". None of us do infact.

But to Taurus, it hits a very sore spot if they cant afford that delicious piece of cake because it is outside their means. So they will work hard to get a plush home.

Taurus is to me the sign that rules the natural environment on one hand. But it also rules industrialism on the other.

Oil spills, pollution, job cuts and population migration to jobs because of industrialization, is Scorpio. Because such moves rip families apart(loss)

That would mean there is no Taurus suns (people born in May) or atleast very low count of them lives in poor countries? According to poverty statistics, 80% of the world population lives on less then 10 dollars a day. Half the world over three billion people live on less than $2.50 a day. So dunno, maybe it depends on if you live in a western country or not?

Well, I was born and raised in a third world country, but I was definitely not poor. Maybe I only met Taurus suns that are middle class or well-off there because I was in that class too?

But then when I moved to Canada, I was still bumping into Taurus suns that are quite well-off. My one friend is a princess type. Her dad gives her everything she asks for and they live a pretty comfortable life. She's Taurus and Pisces dominant.

I think I met a french girl before that was a Taurus sun and lived in the countryside. She was very beautiful, feminine earthy looks. She was not poor, and she wasn't rich either.

I do agree though that Taurus work very hard to achieve what they want, as with other earth signs. The people I've met, even though their lives are comfortable as can be, they still continue to work hard to maintain that level of comfort. They get very stressed when that comfort is taken away from them.

I think I attract these Taurus suns in my life to mirror my 2nd house Sun. We're different but also similar in some ways.

Yes of course that may explain it, your 2th house sun

I have Taurus sun. Immigrant parents that started out poor, my father started out as dishwasher and cleaner to own bussiness owner in very steady strides. We are middle class in Sweden. And yes the taurean sun guys I have met have had parents with good income.

Also the Venus placement is important for taurean suns atleast for females dunno for males. Mine is conj jupiter and n.node in my 8th. I have been supported by my father my whole life. Definitely not "a princess" but he has never let me down when I really needed something.

My parents have never spoiled us so we never "nagged" them as some children will do when they wan't toys and whatnot. But we always knew we will get what we want if we really really want it and its not something very impractical. Like a new laptop when ones old one is broken. A new phone. A new winter jacket etc. I would say, I can "trust" my father will help me out when I'm in need.

And I feel I will never be able to repay him. Its not something you can repay with writing of a check even if its like 1 million dollar. He has given his whole youth for us, bruised his body, hurt his back for us. One can never repay someone who has given so much , its not just money, its his health, his body, his mind, everything . I know I'm so lucky to have a father like him, especially knowing about fathers around the world who leave their family all together not caring about their children at all...
