I was excitable and all in, until I caught Aqua flirting with a rival. I tried ghosting Aqua but felt terrible and childish. However I have been distant. After two weeks of chilly behavior I recently re-opened communication. One change I've noticed is that Aqua is not so flirty with me but poker faced and matter of fact. Almost retaliating to my frosty attitude. In truth, I much prefer this expression over endless/meaningless flirting that goes nowhere. Thoughts? Aqua's flirting was a slap in the face...I really thought we had a thing. It's generally my style to smile and act oblivious to pain, until time has passed. Is better to be transparent and show vulnerability, when you show vulnerability it usually helps to break down barriers and bring you closer together. Guys also like for girls to fight for them and not give up on them easily, like if he did flirt with this girl and they are not dating, he is there to be won over still, he is not taken, he might possibly feel a connection with both of you yes but maybe what he has with you is stronger but you walked away from it bc he flirted with another girl even though he is single. I think he realised you're a more serious person than he is and that you want something more serious on a romantic level. So now he's taken a step back so that he doesn't lead you on.. since he is probably just casually flirting with different girls... and maybe casually dating too. I wouldn't take his behaviour as retaliating.. unless he has more emotional placements going on, like a Scorpio or Cancer Mars. Aquarius isn't usually the type to "retaliate". IP: Logged

I became anxious he might start telling people I was a meanie or something so I approached him with a smile, a touch, and a compliment. This Aqua, like all Aquas, needs lots of affection and attention...space too. The next day, I didn't see him at first. As I walked closer to where my friends were standing he emerged; gave kisses, shook hands, said goodbye and exited briskly toward his car and drove off...just as I'm approaching the group.
