I have a friend who also has a sun with no aspects. I think it makes him a good leader and makes him seem happier and livelier than what he actually is. That's just my theory anyway. I read that when a planet has no aspects, it means that it's unburdened by the influences of the other planets. So, I think you look at the sign and the house that the planet is in to see how the planet affects someone. My friend has a Taurus sun in the 11th house, so it'd make sense why he's so strong with leading groups of people.IP: Logged |

Not all astrologers agree on what an unaspected planet is.I personally agree with those who limit this to the Ptolemaic aspects - if a planet makes no conjunction, sextile, trine, square or opposition to other planets it is unaspected. The qualities of the unaspected planet are highlighted, both the good and bad ones. The planet acts freely and unhindered. I know a guy who has an unaspected Venus, he is very charming, social, flirty and a sweettalker, the way you'd expect Librans to be but he has a Virgo Sun. I have an unaspected Saturn and people always say that I'm too serious, detached and maybe also stiff. I was like that even as a little child. On the other hand, others say that the qualities of an unaspected planet are hard to express for the native. I believe that the first theory makes more sense. IP: Logged |

I can't say for sure if it is, I haven't met many people with unaspected planets to check if aspects to angles count. But I guess it can be regarded as unaspected. House cusps don't transfer energy to the planets, it's the other way around, the planets colour the houses.

Look closely. Look in the declinations. No 'major' aspects does not mean 'no aspects.' Minor aspects are still aspects. ------------------ "Drift like a cloud and flow like water, seeing that all life is a magnificent illusion, a playing of energy, and there is absolutely nothing fundamentally to be afraid of." -- Alan Watts Soul Stars Astrology by The Declinations Guy Expert Rectification IP: Logged |

that way the term "unaspected" shouldn't exist because it's impossible that a planet doesn't make any minor aspects or being parallel/contra parallel IP: Logged |

they feel invisible and overlooked, so they put twice and trice more effort to get noticed, and this concentrated effort usually puts them in the front row before anyone else. IP: Logged |

The term "unaspected" means no Ptolemiac aspects (excludes any of the 'minor' aspects). I laugh when they say 'minor' aspects?? When those are involved, perhaps they are felt more strongly within the person? What I've read on a Ptolemiacally unaspected Sun, has some validity... especially when it comes to not having been validated (inside) by the Father. Mine was 'there' but absent towards ME-- He valued his many sons and treated me like a live-in servant instead of a daughter. And I admired him sooo much. Missblyss… Is this the *ahem* (criminal)-father who decided recently to demand he wants custody/visitation now that you have another baby with a different man?? Your newest husband (her step-father) would be reflected by placements in her 5th House! Hopefully, he will be a better-influence, and a "presence" in her life that can make-up the Difference! Best Wishes to you and the members of you household. (music) Bless This House (Perry Como, *blast from the past* LOL, lyrics) [2:54] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=934lUuATPME IP: Logged |

I didn't know that, Orange, but it makes sense!
