Aries is like "I have to express my feelings, even if its not suitable now, or others get hurt" etc. They feel something, they express it immidiately. Can come off as "genuine" or "childish, needy, inconciderat and selfish"... well childish in a nutshell.

Leo is like "see me, appreciate me, praise me, flatter me!". And I'm over simplifying it. We all have this leo traits in us of course! Maybe more that leo prone people seek this out more sincerely and openly (if saturn is not involved).

I have aries stellium and sagg stellium amd a strong mars after pluto.
So yeah lots of fire. If the other person does not have much fire, it can feel very overwhelming and like the aries/leo person is dominating and wants to overpower. thats one way of needy atleast imo.
Have to go to sleep now, so this was what I thought quickly on top of my head..

The more insecure they feel, the more demanding they get.

Aries can start off wanting all your attention at the start. But because they also grow restless and easily bored, they don't expect you to keep it on them and may loosen the stronghold as the relationship progresses.

Sag ime does not " want" for personal attention at all. But does like an audience outside the relationship. So perhaps it is there that they are more "demanding"?

They are usually lukewarm to semi passionate in love relationships but have more external passions than all consuming coupling.

Cancer matches Leo in being demanding and needy. With Libra also wedged in there.

Out of the earth signs,Taurus is more possessive than demanding, A Virgo more exacting than needy. So the winner is Cap whom can be very bossy and demanding.

Also all human beings need attention! The way we go about it and in what manner etc differs, but alas attention we need!

I know I have slide slightly to keyword "attention" from "needyness" but they are the same imo.

I'm currently very into Leo Sun and their easily hurt "pride" or ego. A new layer I try to understand haha.

My friend aka "former crush" has sun in Leo. But its square his saturn therefore, it took me a looong time to understand, he really craves attention and praise and he likes being "needed". But also, he "gives back" the same amount, even more!

They like shining their "light" on those who shines on them! They are so generous. Something my venus-jupiter really raletes to.
Not as generous as I am though haha, again Jupiter- venus, much more generous lol

I see what you mean, and I tend to agree, about air signs being up there. I think that water and earth are the least needy.

I also tend to wonder if it might be an extroverted thing, since fire and air are considered as such.

Which also brings me to think about how western society idealizes and encourages extroversion, and in general discourages introversion. Introverts are probably a minority, even even if there are those who'd naturally be more introverted, they might tend to ignore that part of themselves due to cultural conditioning. With that, it would make more sense why some might not see such extremes with say, fire, or even air, being quite needy, because we cannot really see what we are really 'involved in' (extroverted culture). So, I think most might not be able to see this about themselves or others, or accept it.

Yes, this is very much in line with what I have noticed.

And their quick acting sensitivity can even be seen in this thread!

I do feel it in myself, but I try to distance myself from it so as to see clearly and not be engulfed.
