I recently read an article which mentioned the chart ruler. I’d heard of the chart ruler before, but I didn’t realise it was this significant?!

The article said that aspects to your chart ruler are VERY important. The aspects and houses your chart ruler makes/ is in take up a major part in your life.
Is this true? I find it really interesting if it is.

So could anyone just tell me abit more about the chart ruler ? Do aspects matter ? Thank you so much in advance to all ))

The chart ruler is the ruler of the Asc. And so the house that its placed in and aspects therein are important. So that is the theory part.

Aries Asc has Mars as chart ruler.

Taurus Asc has Venus as chart ruler.

Gemini Asc has Mercury as chart ruler.

Cancer Asc has Moon as chart ruler.

Leo Asc has Sun as chart ruler.

Virgo Asc has Mercury as chart ruler

Libra Asc has Venus as chart ruler

Scorp Asc has Pluto as chart ruler

Sag Asc has Jupiter as chart ruler

Cap Asc has Saturn as chart ruler

Aquarius Asc has Uranus as chart ruler

Pisces Asc has Neptune as chart ruler.

So take a look at ur ascendant, its respective ruler, the house its in and aspects. Does it reflect your life or the area of much focus?

In my case, Mars is the chart ruler (Aries Asc) and is placed in the 6th conjunct the DSC.

The area of much focus in my life has been work, work,work. And the getting along with others whilst at work or collaboration projects etc.
