I'm going thru this transit and everything I've read mentions me running into a plutonic person who will come into my life and transform, is it similar to Venus conjunct pluto transit? Because it sounds very similar to it

I have been researching this position in my chart for a while. Many descriptions are so vague or exaggerated. I also have Venus in Scorpio.

"You will marry a very powerful person " or " relationships are powerful and transformative" etc. What does all that really mean in tangible real life terms?

Often they make it seem like u will come into contact with the rulers of the world or something.

Or having this position has one become more likely to date an extremely powerful person i.e. president, prominent politician or oil billionaire etc.

Although I don't dispute this happening to some Pluto in 7th people. But this is not likely to be the case with all of us. We may even marry "ordinary" really.

This transit happened when I was very young. I don't recall anything drastic or "life altering" happening at that time as Pluto in Scorpio is on my 7th house and in 1 degree Scorpio.

I do however recall that it highlighted the relationship with my father(or the lack thereof). So I got to deal with that loss early on.

I can say that I was kind of a melancholic child in some ways. Intense I guess(according to parents) and very emotional.

Whilst in the 7th, I looked for a father figure. I looked to be loved, felt unfavoured, felt "ugly" or underappreciated. Dreamt of death a lot and threatened to kill myself in a letter addressed to mom(yeah...DRAMA!!!)

My parents sort counsel from a psychologist. I think my extreme emotions scared them. I was always attracted to melodramatic, dark things at the time. I was 8 years old so I guess there was good reason.

But I was a kid. And I guess it was my way of dealing with things.

When Pluto moved to the 8th(its natural placement) one would expect things to get worse? They didn't. In fact they eased up a lot. No more black roses or bleeding heart syndrome. I was done.

I wasn't necessarily all bouncy and happy overnight. But I didn't threaten death anymore. Nor did I remain in a place of pain.

For you I would say it may be a buildup of momentum. All the expectations, fears, hopes, dreams, inhibitions etc. that you may have about personal relationships may come to the fore.

You may be a bit of a handful for others now-as you demand more attention and may go through drastic declarations of "nobody cares if I die" to get the desired response etc.

What you are actually searching for is intimacy. You want to be close to someone and feel something "real" as you reach emotional suspicion and uncertainty about the affairs of your close relationships.

If you are already in a relationship, your mate will have to step up a lot and play psychologist or therapist for your many emotions(infact even close friends will have to)

If you are not in a close relationship, the vulnerabilities may be harder to disguise or hide now. So dating may have the profound effect of evoking feelings of rejection, abandonment, deep pain of loss, fear of loss and intense jealousy/suspicion that affections are not exclusive to you alone.

You will get to sample a little of what Scorpio energy is made up of and what psychological mindset Scorpios are at. You may(if you do the internal work) even attract/be attracted the more evolved Scorpio/Pluto types right now.

This transit can also work the other way i.e you become the therapist or psychologist to your mate or close friends. Somehow you find answers to questions about relationship or at least come to an awareness of how to facilitate a deeper connection etc.

Its a strongly introspective time. Not all of it feels good as self-hatred may also be an issue. But there will definitely be an increased sensitivity to other's perceived "coldness" or "indifference".

You may guard or keep things from those close to you as it will be hard to be forthcoming about everything. Or they(close mate or friends) may guard or keep things from you.

Social justice ,racism, sexuality discrimination etc. Will also likely touch a raw nerve. You may be surprise in confronting your real feelings with regards to these subjects ie. Either vehemently against or enthusiastically for(little middle ground).

Another possibility is dealing with the loss of a friend/close mate. The death may hit a raw emotional never affecting your ability to get close to anyone ever again.

Be careful mostly of ostracising others because of your strong feelings and wanting others to " agree" with you. They may not see things in such a "black and white" way as you do.

Good luck !!

My husband has Pluto 7H Virgo. For him it seems to have translated into meeting a lot of manipulative people because he projects a certain aura. They have been “powerful” in their ways of being complete a$$e$, especially the women. Even some of his family members desperately try to control him through various methods of manipulation, passive aggressiveness and crocodile tears. He is kind but extremely smart and has a real intelligence for seeing people who they really are but for some reason it goes too far and before he knows it, **** has usually reached the ceiling fan.

People mistake his kindness for something they can take advantage of and they often fail to see HIS Pluto. When HIS pluto is activated, things get ugly.

Transit Pluto indicates that your relationships and business will go through a deep cleanse. Anything "weak" or insubstantial will be highlighted in order to either be reborn, or perish in the fire. This includes characteristics inside of you, in others, and with regards to partnerships, whatever you BELIEVE about partnerships.

It could, yes, even mean you will meet someone who will have this effect on you, who'll assist you in getting rid of your weaknesses and buffing you up. It may be an ecstatic experience. It could even be something traumatizing, depending on how you deal with Plutonic and Scorpionic issues. But there will always be a symbolic theme of death.

I have it in there for a few years.

To be honest nothing really happened.
I have Neptune, North Node, Lilith and Juno in there and at some point it will oppose my natal Mercury.

First time T.Pluto conjucted my North Node I became obsessed with someone who's Venus and Saturn are conjuct my NN and he has Scorpio Moon conjuct Pluto (not early degrees) which I wanted to meet ever since I started astrology.
But we can not be together anyway and nothing really happened.

Everyone I liked though has Capricorn Venus conjuct Saturn which conjuct my North Node but it was about 5-6 orbs away, while his is 2 and 3 orbs plus his Mars conjuct my NN 5 orbs which is the first time having this synastry aspect.

But all in all except of feeling kind of empty without any reason nothing really happened. So don't expect anything crazy (maybe if you have personal planets it will affect you somewhat more?)

I have Venus conjunct Pluto on my DSC natally and I don't know much to say about it. I often have heartbreak in love, as no one is as intense enough as me to be with me. Something always comes up that ruins the moment also. I guess my relationships are transformative in the sense that I end things very quickly, and lose people just as quickly.
For the transit, I have heard that it can often indicate divorce if the couple was already married and the person with the 7th house Pluto transit is not Plutonian by nature, thus they cannot handle all that intense power coming into their lives at that point and one of them breaks it off. Often, there were already underlying issues boiling under the surface if that occurs.

If you're single I guess it could mean you meet someone very Plutonian who changes your life drastically. Or your become more chaotic and intense in your approach to relationships, more protective and with a better guard up. It is not common for most people to have this by transit, which is why it could be hard for anyone to give an answer you are happy with. It's one of those transits that is a little rare and thus hard to define as not many people can testify to one general outcome.

Natal Pluto is in my 5th house. My 7th house ruler is in Scorpio conjunct my husband’s Venus. My moon is on the cusp of my 8th house, SN in my 8th...

I’ve written about this before... When tPluto was in a 1-degree applying conjunction to my DC, I had my first baby. Transformational experience? Yes!

It was a really hard adjustment, especially within my marriage.

A year later, as tPluto exactly conjunct my DC and moved into opposition to my sun, my husband had his first extramarital affair. Lol. Transformational experience? Yes! I took a significant hit to my self-esteem. We’re still married. I’m weak like that.

Now, tPluto is conjunct his DC and my progressed DC... if I remember, I’ll let you know what happens!

Good luck, OP!

Thanks for your response, you hit everything on the head especially about being a therapist to others helping them understand their relationships and emotions more clearly. I'm also learning how to deal with my negative emotions better now since having this transit, its transforming me for the better. And my relationship has been an eye opener for me in realizing that I have to change certain bad habits in order for me to keep my relationships going strong and not cutting people out of my life like I have been doing most of my life. This has definitely been a learning experience for me

Hi,

I have the venus conjunct pluto transit coming up October 20th. This will be Venus retrograde I have Pluto in Scorpio in the 8th house though. Libra is in my 8th house. So when Venus go retrograde, I believe this transit will activate.

I have libra in my 8th house and Scorpio in my 9th. I found an article that I think is really cool.

I feel like I transformed for the better. My understanding of myself and relationships changed. Just like you described to Aries... there were negative emotions to deal with, bad habits, I like to cut people off too. 🤦🏻‍♀️

This particularly: “Its a strongly introspective time. Not all of it feels good as self-hatred may also be an issue.”

Our relationship improved for a little while.

The thing about these experiences - they last. From time to time, I think about what happened and have to consciously choose to (re)apply those lessons in my life. New bad habits are easy to develop. Bad habits come back. New patterns of behavior emerge and not always constructive ones... it’s good to reflect and recognize where recontextualizing those experiences can help you grow.

Just went through it for the past few years now. Just the right time actually. I think it hit its peak point when it trined my Venus and opposed my Moon.

It was a very slow and gradual phase. I feel like for most of my childhood, I felt like I had Venus in Pisces. I idealized love and romance. Wanted the perfect partner and the perfect relationship. I had very unrealistic expectations of love. Maybe because I never saw what it was like with parents like mine. Didn't realize it was all in my head until I had my first real heartbreak. It was very eye-opening. I realized love I wasn't at all like the stories I've read in books and romantic comedies I watched. I realized there was really no perfect person. I realized I had a lot of work to do on myself.

Because of this transit, I figured out the type of relationship I wanted to be in and the type of person I want to date, regardless of any physical shortcomings. Relationships are a piece of work and if you're not willing to put in enough effort, no amount of romance will keep the two of you together.

I also realized I was in different toxic relationships with friends and some family members. I have dealt with them and cut off any unecessary ones.

I think this transit is all about filtering everyone you let into your life, especially the close ones.

Pluto will go into my 8h this end of the year I believe.

Pluto in 7h was a ride for me. I feel it can sort of sound like Venus/Pluto but it all played out a common theme in my relationship. I dated 3-4 guys during this transit. Let me tell you, they have an obsession factor to them. They may have some plutonian vibe to them in some way. I feel I come out differently each relationship -- like I evolve from it into a different person. Before this transit I attracted guys that were more aloof and less profound

So here I am in typical, responsible Capricorn (moon) fashion to give y’all an update on transit Pluto conjunct natal DSC!

My husband met a girl whose Pluto conjuncts his vertex. Fated? Maybe! I get it’s a generational planet and he’ll have this aspect with everyone her age.

She has moon in Sagittarius that completes a kite between his moon (Aries), Saturn/Jupiter (Libra) opposition and his Mars (Leo). Seems like a nice aspect pattern.. Much more supportive than the tSquare we have between our moons and his moon, Saturn/Jupiter opposition.

The SN and Saturn is also transiting his DSC and my progressed DSC.

Our divorce is FINALLY happening!! 😁

SOOO much has fallen into place to make this separation possible that it really does seem like some sort of grand cosmic conspiracy!!

I have Jupiter transiting my 7th house. Amicable endings?! I hope so. Nothing’s final yet thanks to this pestering Mercury retro.

We have lots of history together and this ending will definitely be a transformative experience for him. I’m not sure it will be all positive. It really depends on how he handles it. He has a natal sun/Neptune square. I feel like he’s so delusional. tJupiter is conjunct his Neptune and square is sun too. While he has support to his sun fm Saturn and Pluto, he is just not willing to acknowledge the realities of this new life he’s in pursuit of.

It’s been a really weird experience for me.

I’m about to experience a nodal return and I have a NN/SN conjunction with the girl he met. Her Venus and Jupiter conjuncts my IC and forms a grand trine with my moon and Venus. Her dream is to have a family life EXACTLY like the one I tried to build with my husband. He was so resistant to it. Throughout our marriage, our family life has been a major point of contention. I feel cheated that the bond he is creating with this girl revolves around something he was never fully willing to commit to. The things she says she’s attracted to are things I practically forced on him. She doesn’t know it, but I feel like she’s more in love with me and my values than she is with him. My NN is in the second house (values). All this activity on my husband’s DSC and my progressed DSC is happening in my 8th house. The house of Scorpio/Pluto!

This girl has a sad story. She longs for a family. I snapped at her once for being so public about her interest in my husband and the effect is was having on my kids. When we first spoke, I felt a connection to her. I felt like, however untraditional, we could be the family she’s looking for, but they really need to handle this thing they have going on responsibly.

There is so much more to this story and I’m pretty blown away by how all these developments coincide with the transits and our natals.

Like Capricorncheristcy said, “For the transit, I have heard that it can often indicate divorce... Often, there were already underlying issues boiling under the surface if that occurs.” This is true!

This divorce is a long time in the making and I feel really good about where I am today.

Yep. The "romance" is just the icing on the cake. But first you need an actual cake! Otherwise it's just sugar butter.... which will melt.

Hi,

Pluto has been transiting my 7th house for several years now. Natally, I have sun, mercury and venus in my 7th house in capricorn. So I not only have pluto transiting that significant house of partnership, but it's also been conjuncting several personal planets at the same time. At one point a few months ago I had transiting pluto conjunct all 3, my natal sun, mercury AND venus. At the moment it is now "only" pluto conjunct mercury and conjunct Venus in the 7th, but as I now also have transiting Saturn conjunct sun, mercury and venus (and of course tranisting my DC in a conjunction as well) ALL AT THE SAME time with those incredibly heavy pluto transits, I honestly feel it's the worst time in my life....

I really thought it couldnt get any worse, but it has...When pluto first hit my chart several years ago by transiting my DC and conjuncting my natal sun, my mum was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and I spent almost 4 years until her death as her closest support and champion during all her therapies. I moved back home for 2 months to care for her until her death and during that time we grew so close (although we had always been best friends) at some point our communication turned almost telepathic. The whole experience has been very plutonic, death on the one hand and on the other hand very transformativ. I had never realized how strong I was psychologically, even her sister my aunt keeps telling me that she could have never done what I did. In a way the transformativ effect of her death was multifold. She was only 60 and had always been healthy and it showed me that you really need to live every day of your life, as cliche as it sounds. At the same time it gave me an inner strength as I knew I would be able to cope with any crisis my life might still have in store for me. However, after several hard years I really hoped to be able to catch my breath.

Instead, 1 year after her death I met a man last year who I loved passionately, body and soul (so very pluto) like no other man before. He also is a very plutonic personality (the final dispositor of all of his personal planets except the sun is pluto and with a scorpio moon). For a number of reasons this will never turn into a relationship, there are these major blocks there which I think is symbolizes by these major saturn transits at the same time of the pluto transits. So pluto brought this once in a life time passionate, obsessive connection to someone, but saturn puts up all these blocks. And that's how I feel at the moment, on the one hand so introspective and almost raw, having been given a glimpse of how it feels to truly desire someone to your core, but then this being denied by all these external factors.

Wow this turned out much longer than expected, but yes pluto (plus now saturn) has definitely been a killer aspect for me in the true sense of the word.

I'm half way through this transit and it hasn't been fun I must admit.
Especially while Tr Pluto was squaring my natal Pluto/IC and MC the past couple of years.

This transit has made me feel more vulnerable and dark than I've ever felt regarding my relationships.
I do hope that when both Pluto and Saturn begin their retrograde, energies and individuals around me start to ease up a little.

I have, and still am learning some very important lesson throughout this transit. And especially with Tr NN moving through my 1st house at this time opposing both of them.. I have to stay strong inside and against anybody who opposes me with dominance and manipulation.

My sister went through this. And I think I have an alternative idea of how this can play out.

Pluto is influence and subversive power (hence it's connection with Hades I.e. "the UNDERworld ".

Subversive power is manipulation through blackmail (emotional or otherwise), intimidation , mental or even financial.

When Plu transits the 7th of "others", the balance of power between you and what you want vs what others want from You, becomes central.

An example is if you are in a position of having to depend on others because of circumstances during this transit.

You need them. But you must also be careful that they don't use that as leverage in order for them to exercise control over you.

For those very used to independence and beating their own drum, this transit can be downright painful. Painful.

This because they have to sometimes subjugate themselves/their needs or concede to others in order to survive.

With my own natal Pluto in 7th(Placidus) ,I see it as how I have had to concede to the will of those who are financing my livelihood(parents).

I am not from a rich family. But we do alright. And my lacklustre success in my career, has had me having to fall back on family for sustenance during the downturns.

Always, I have had to practice diplomacy of not having to assert my independence too much. This especially as they advise me on what they think is "best" for me. Because I still need them🤷🏿‍♂️

With this ofcourse, came playing by their rules and ensuring that I satisfied them in as far as "trying to be independent " is concerned.

I still am. And it seems to be something that is being re-examined with this Pluto square Pluto. I am not sure how it will unfold. But perhaps there will be an insistence on ABSOLUTE financial independence from them?

I certainly hope so. Oh please God let it be so 🙏🏿
