The ruler of my 12th house is Moon (Cancer). I have Moon Conjunct sun in first house. Does this have any effect on the Moon or sun?

I also have Jupiter, Chiron, & Venus in 12th house. (Venus Conjunct ASC by 1 degree)

Been interested in 12th house matters lately. Especially the ruler planet and if it is effected.

Ruler of 12th house(Moon) in 1st house suggests that you bring the affairs of the 12th house to the 1st house.

So with Sun/Moon conjunct in 1st and Venus conjunct from the 12th,you are likely an individual who avoids having their picture taken, posting personal things online or going to places with big crowds.

The 12th house effect on the planets would be to make them shy.

Typically speaking your placements are a bit of a contradiction. As Moon/ Sun and Venus interacting with the 1st house, would make you more "in your face" in personality and very much externally focused.

But the fact that the energy of Moon comes from the 12th(as ruler). That it conjuncts the Sun and Venus is from the 12th,negates all of that.

So you appear "extroverted" on one hand(1st house emphasis). But you are a lot more introverted than would otherwise be apparent.

Or you may go back/forth between the two types of personality expressions. Confusing those around you.

Thank you! Yes that is very true and especially being a Leo I go back an forth between extroverted and shy. (Also mercury in Virgo)...I definitely feel the 12th house influence though. Do these aspects give Pisces or Cancer qualities?

The 12th gives Neptune/Pisces qualities.

Whilst the 1st house gives Aries traits added to the planet therein I.e

Venus in 1st is both boldness(Aries) in social interactions. But also blesses one with creative abilities (Venus) and charm.

Moon in 1st is both boldness(Aries) in feelings. Being truthful about how you feel(1st). But also blesses one with sensitivity and a nurturing disposition (Cancer)

Jupiter in the 12th has a protective effect, turns enemies into friends. It helps you have faith and in turn this has the effect of you attracting what you need so you somehow always land on your feet.

I think South node in the 12th means in a past life you led a lonely life, hermatic in nature, either bc it was imposed on you via imprisonment or exile or bc you were treated as an outcast or by choice (e.g. monk, nun). With Chiron there too and the support of Jupiter you can perhaps heal some of those past wounds from past lives or your ancestors.

Thank you for all this input Hypatia!! I am very intuitive at times and do have psychic dreams (but not that often). Does Venus Conjunct south node less than 1 degree tell anything about past life or lessons to be learned in this life? Oddly enough the Venus/south node is right on my ascendant from 12th house and north node on descendant.

It's such a tight conjunction you might identify more with Venus in the 1st,...

Our 12th is also the house of our undoing. Even if the 12th is empty then the ruler of the 12th and the aspects that makes will show us our undoing.
