What aspects or placements would make a person feel as if their soul and desires flourish in the unknown? This person I know says things like "They feel exhilarated or like a nomad in a the space of nothingness when things are unpredictable." Also they are the odd one in the family. For example their family members wanted them to stay with them. And live a daily routine like getting up going to work etc. But they said they felt like a prisoner. I Uranus has to be involved in someway.

Moon/Sun in Aqua,Pisces. Aspects of Uranus/Neptune to Sun/Moon. Or else Sun/Moon ruling the 12th or in the 12th.

Uranus and Neptune, yes, especially aspecting Jupiter and Sagittarius. 12th house, 9th house, 11th. Neptune is the dissolution of boundaries. They don't fear the vastness, but embrace it and embodies it. Uranus wants to discover, to be free, to knock away boundaries, to discover themselves. Jupiter amplifies this. Uranus doesn't mind shocking change, and for Neptune, no change is shocking. Tis all but an illusion.

Pluto (Scorpio) is also a strong player in the unknown - they are the seekers, plunging into the depths, no matter how potentially frightening, or awe inspiring.

My two cents ~

Another small thing is, that I should add, is that While Uranus, and Aquarius, are all about sudden change - it is the sign/and planet that once you get to know, it actually can be QUITE rigid and set in its ways, and even very resistant to change.

So, ultimately, I do think Neptune/Pisces/12th house is the final winner here in this context.

For the past few years i lived a very unstable gypsy lifestyle. Homeless, shelters and such..Having to run from my ex at the time.

Now that im settled in one place i kind of miss it.. The moving around part, meeting new and intetesting people on the fringe of society. Its hard to deal with the day to day so called normal..Also its hard to relate to so called normal people

Could it be Moon and Neptune in the 12th house?

I think all three of the outer planets would speak for people like this. The outer planets are the definition of the vast and unknown.

i can only share my own experience.
my moon in pisces and neptune conj sun in 4 house makes me float around in the collective unconscius . i also have uranus conj sun.

i also get lost within myself often. probably the 4th house effect.

i have no wish in getting a regular job, big need to do different then other.
(makes it complicated in me, since my sun is cap, and saturn also is conjunct sun,, who needs it to be steady.. the cap grounds me a bit, but i do feel that saturn pushed me deeper into myself, because he wants to work on the self. )

I am like this. I have Uranus square mars exact. Uranus also trine MC and Juno.

Once in a while I will disrupt my life just to get a thrill of doing something different when I was younger, I have insane curiosity too. (still do, but not to divert too much)
