In January 2019 transit Saturn will exactly conjunct my 12 Capricorn DC. Would that possibly bring marriage or a long-term relationship? My mom is also a Cancer rising with a Cap DC and on New Year's Eve 1988 when she married my dad she had transit Saturn exactly on her DC. Granted my parents had been dating for three years so a marriage wouldn't seem odd when her 7th ruler hit her 7th cusp, but I am currently single and in 3 months when Saturn will be on my my DC I don't know if I'd have enough time to meet someone in that short time and determine them to be marriage material; however, I do have a Uranus-Neptune conjunction in my 7th exactly square natal Aries 10th house Venus so sudden relationships have not ever been unusual for me and usually start exclusively dating a person soon after first meeting them... Basically I'm saying a shotgun wedding doesn't seem like something I'd say no to despite a Cap moon, Cap stellium, stable Taurus sun and Cap 7th house lol. I have the North Node in Cap in my 7th so despite my illusive Uranus-Neptune conjunction in my 7th I see the North Node there and the Moon, the ruler of my Ascendant, both there saying that long relationships and marriage is something my soul desires and seeks. Saturn came and left my DSC with no marriage. I am not sure that this transit always equates to marriage: as Saturn closes off instead of opening up. And with relationships, one needs to open up.But it does suggest that you may become clearer about what you want from a relationship or what (in your view) makes a relationship worthwhile. I recall Saturn on the DSC coincided with my Saturn return being a lonely time. I was single too. There really was no action. Other people get married during Saturn on their DSC or on their Saturn return which makes sense also because they "close off" on dating or "playing the field" to look forward to getting serious about the one bird in hand instead of looking for two in the bush etc. There are two things that can occur now. You could meet someone who is very serious about relationships when you go out. Because right now that is the dominant energy that you out You put out a "I am a person of substance. I am bankable. Approach me if you have your story straight" etc. So this could attract a Cap, Saturn strong individual who is mature and immediately recognizes that. Or if you are like me and socially awkward, it could be a time where you lock doors and stay home. Your confidence about your looks(no matter how good looking you are) may decrease as you find more of yourself to fuss about or be critical over. During this period, you may lean more on a friend/relative(typically one who is Saturn strong or Cap strong) as you distance yourself from those more "superficial" ties. Try to maintain a sense of humour during this time. And good luck.

Oh yes. Sorry to ramble on like this. But I also wanted to add that instead of locking yourself in and feeling horrible about your looks(2nd option), rather attend formal dinners.Saturn-Venus/Saturn.Dsc people usually feel their sexiest when they are being productive. So if you attend business luncheons, dinners or events that have a serious cause, you are likely to attract attention from someone who would like you to be their arm candy. But if you go to normal parties. You will feel the "ugly" take over as you may struggle with small talk and light conversation. I went to a formal event during this period on a work assignment and wasn't really looking to flirt of get someone. And what occurred is that I made a contact who is still a great friend of mine to this very day. Initially he said he crushed on me. But because we quickly became friends, he decided to sidestep that and become my friend. I didn't even know that I was coming off "flirtatious". Coz I didn't feel flighty. But I was doing my job and enjoyed the leisure part too. Business functions, corporate conferences, formal dinners or parties, year end functions, office parties or charity events is where Venus-Saturn or Saturn/DSC thrives!! IP: Logged |

Pluto is currently ending its year long square to my Venus and Saturn will begin squaring my Venus early next year so I've def felt ugly even though I do modeling sometimes And have never had problems with guys. I think the Pluto square has really ****** it up for me IP: Logged |

My DSC is in Libra. I have Saturn in 7th house Scorpio conjunct Venus. So my love life has classic Saturnine themes i.e loneliness, difficulty in finding partner, likely delay in relationship or marriage etc. But even with that being said, there are perks. Saturn/Venus gives mad sex appeal. In that some people are drawn to that "close off" vibe one sends .

I will be experiencing the square somewhere in my 40's. And it should be interesting. Would Pluto on my Venus lead to others being obsessed with me? Or will I be completely obsessed with someone. Or both? I guess I will have to wait and see. Because now I am experiencing the sextiles aspect to Venus from trans Pluto. Its not all that bad. Not very eventful at all actually i.e. Not obsessing over anyone, no stalkers but perhaps my interest in erotica could be it? Oh yes. And I do see how Pluto/Venus can have you feeling "ugly". Sometimes when we obsess so much about what is " wrong" with us, we can end up feeling that EVERYTHING needs a fixer upper. Thank goodness its leaving though. IP: Logged |

Pluto aspecting Venus and vis versa can def lead to obsessions from you or towards you. I'm currently experiencing that with a guy who keeps making fake Facebook accounts to harass me because I turned him down 6 months ago! The jerk is still not over it! He keeps saying he won't bother with me but makes a new fake profile and messages me again. Classic Pluto-Venus transit stuff. I've also found myself way more obsessive than usual in relationships this year. Like I'm naturally jealous and kind of obsessive because I have a natal Pluto quincunx Venus, but this year transit Pluto squaring my Venus has made it worse and way more noticeable and indeed I'm going to be so glad when it moves out of orb and moves on from 19 degrees! I know that this may be a silly question but I have to ask it because I often ignore them.Do you consider the inconjunct/quincunx as potent and "legitimate" as the trine, sext ,opp, square and conj? I say this because I have Chiron/Sun, Chiron/Neptune,Mercury/North Node, Venus/North Node inconjunct. How wide is the orb? IP: Logged |

To be honest, I am not sure if saturn conjunct dsc alone provide us Marriage. I had this close conjunction end of last year. It makes me less extroverted among my friends and ask myself are these truly the friends I want in the long run because hanging out alone feels quite draining - My energy is limited in amount even until this day. Then again it conjunct my Mars. I also have moments I want to be clear to my bf I am dating to get married, not for the funs. It definitely will give you that outlook how to use your energy and see things on the committed side to put the energy for an investment in return. IP: Logged |
