starrybuffalo,I have Pluto running over my ascendant at the moment. It's been backing up, running over again, and again, and so forth for some years. Before that it ran my Venus in the 12H into the depths of hell.
Incidentally, my progressed Mars is there following closely by 2 degrees. And transit Saturn will follow some time in the future. Neptune is currently square my Mars which I don't feel at all? Maybe the Neptune transit pales into the distance comparatively (see below)
I have read that the impact of transits vary, depending how the transit planet is integrated in your natal chart inherently. My natal Pluto is unaspected, but on my MC.
How are your planets integrated?
The wake up FOR ME, as Pluto grinds my ass has been nothing short of horrific. I have experienced much abuse and victimisation chronically. Starting with a partner, then friends around that partner, and from where I became homeless consequently for a time (remember it went over my Venus, and the ruler of my Asc is in my 5H).
And I definitely now see too much potential betrayal everywhere, and have reservations about trusting anyone. Which arguably, is a healthy result. The mental health for myself as I process the "ruthless cruelty" I experienced has been another layer of torment again.
Come to think of it, the comparison, since going over my Asc compared to MC is that it has been way more personal and direct (victimisation). Where once, I saw it generally, in the community collectively, and more as social groups victimising other social groups (MC).
Sorry.. I guess that's not all that helpful. But, my point is that, I don't think I was equipped for it at all because my Pluto is unaspected, so, it was incredibly shocking. I am hoping that your is better integrated
My eventual resolve for myself was getting into my body and making my body strong. Through this I felt stronger, healthier, more able to present as less victimised. I was more confident, with reduced fear, and then, more psychologically equipped (I did karate for about 4 years, needed something interesting and not just joining a gym).
My advise then is to get strong in the body if you can. Which will be good for all your transits, because they can get you down, and exercise builds confidence.
I am supposing that I will cope better with Saturn as it's more integrated into my natal. I hope all this Pluto business though doesn't make me too brittle come Saturn's arrival. They may both be there together for a time
