...that they fall in

Say you have Jupiter in the 2nd house, that’s said to bring financial prosperity, positive self esteem, etc. However, you were born with Jupiter in Capricorn, where the planet is in fall, it’s said to be weaker in influence. Would that make someone more likely to have a negative view of themselves, as well as a less than stellar financial report?

Or if someone has their Sun in Leo, it’s ruler, in the 9th house, it might bring an over abundance of positivity relating to that house. They might be extremely knowledgeable, a very important religious leader, they might know many different languages instead of just one.

I would say no. However, if they are IN a house and they are stronger, then their function would be stronger or weaker. In that way, yes, but it is a non direct way imo

I am not sure I follow completely. So you believe debilitated/dignified planets interact in the same way that any other positioned planet would in the same house?

I have Mars in Cancer--the fall in the 10th House. I do well with career, so I am not "debilitated" there. I have always had good fortune and success with career. However, Mars in Cancer stuffs things, has a hard time with anger etc but career, itself, did not suffer but my Mars makes taking action in career or anything harder than a Mars in Scorpio, for example. It is kind of hard to explain but I hope that helps, my Friend

You are so welcome, Lacey. I am glad I could help. Astrology is a LANGUAGE. One day, if you stick with it, it will become something you can see from the larger picture.

Mars in Libra---decisions are hard, vacillating

Mars in the 6th--Has a passion to help others in a PRACTICAL way

You are right.
I take too much time make a simple decision. For big ones it's very very hard. Even ask at Astrology Forum like LL.
But I help people with my intelligence and knowledge to make things simpler and easier as a Selfless Man.
Thank you!

i have mars in capricorn and i've been terrible at holding down structured jobs losing interest and being irresponsible then health issues and so on

but my mars is 4th house (or 3rd if you prefer placidus)

what ive noticed with people who have mars in cancer is that they tend to get aggressive at weird times or try to gain control of situations where there's nothing for them to control and no reason for them to step in either

and they mistake odd things as aggression etc

rather than being irresponsible when it comes to work

You are most welcome, S. Everyone has some planets in these hard positions, so don't despair, Love!
