I have:
- Aqua Mercury in 3rd house
- Mercury quintile Mars
- Mercury sextile Jupiter
- Mercury sextile Saturn/Uranus
- Mercury minor aspect to Neptune
- Mercury square Pluto

I found I am quick to offend Libra or Cancer influence people, mostly the Sun or the Mars.

I don't know your whole chart, but I would guess, you would become super pushy with especially plutonian people. Power plays. ( I have this often with other plutonians like me).

Also, I guess with Leo people too, they can be easily hurt (before Leos attacks me, I mean some leos and leo energy in general, so don't hurt me please ). With Leos, they can feel like you are too pushy and also their ego would be hurt if they feel like you think (or even are) better then them.

Its a BIG generalisation though so don't be offended guys! I'm just talking about the few ones I have met, have/had in my life etc.

My Mom and brother have Mars in Cancer, my two sisters have Mars in Libra, one is Libra sun and the other is Libra moon.

Everytime I say my honest opinion about something, they try to shut me down or they try to make me feel guilty just because they don't like to hear me say specific words. Or if we're in an argument and I am telling them the truth objectively, they feel like they are being attacked personally and starting attack me or not giving me a chance to explaining or they suggest me to use more "polite" words or just keep my opinion to myself. I always feel rejected at home on how I communicate.

I finally can see why I have a hard time to talk/voicing up my mind about anything in the past with my friends, at school, overall in my environment. I have known the quietest in the past.

As I learn to heal my wounds, I find myself love communication, and I find not everyone quick to feel offended by my words or how I talk.

"I am sorry" "I was wrong" "I know I really hurt you" " I didn't mean it'.

Wars have been abandoned or waged on countries, civilians, families and members within those families by what people say.

So I do think that with Pluto in in aspect to Mercury in the 3rd house, you must be very careful. What you say has got layers and layers of sting. And Pluto is permanent. So you may inflict a permanent wound without consciously realizing it.

I have a sibling with the opposition of Pluto to Mercury. And my parents fear talking to her and the conversations between her and them can get very defensive.

She thinks that she is also objective or telling the "truth". And I say to her that the problem with telling the truth is that its never received the way one intends. Not unless one is careful and prudent in the manner that they send it. Which she never is.

Yeah for those Mercury to Saturn, hello..

I don't think I play a "power play" games as I like having an open communication with anyone to find middle ground. A lil bit pushy, maybe, if it is about trying to make them look on my side too

My Dad is a Leo sun and he is the one who I talk a lot with. I get along very well with him than with my Mom. But then he has moon in Aquarius conjunct my Mercury. His mercury is in Virgo, our communication flows and sync very well.

I don't know any Virgo sun in my life (only Virgo influences), or maybe I don't realize they are Virgos. But mostly I am quick to offend Libras or Cancers people.

There is a saying in my language, translated roughly to english its "Every truth can't be told in every situation".

I can sense that you feel recentment becuase you maybe feel like you are being pushed away bc of your communication style?

Well, my advice is, a shift of mindset. With that merc square pluto of yours, one can say you need to and deep inside want to "transform" your way of communication. You are well aware your words have a huge impact on people. Use it for "healing" people.

The feeling of having right, the satisfaction of having right (note that I don't use the words "saying/telling the truth) is very short term.

My Pisces venus won't let me insult people, unless I get crossed so many times and I just telling the ugly truth of who they are based on my observation for a long time. I have a lot of tolerance but not blind.

I was bullied at high school, so I don't bully others as I have been there.

If you like being right. This aspect will feel like a gift from the gods. But if you prefer getting along with others, it can feel like a weapon straight from Hades that must be controlled or kept under a tight leash.

I think you are right about the sting. I remember one time my Mom told me that my words can cut people although I didn't talk a lot. She also told me that she got hurt one time and remembered the hurt then she labeled me with a sharp tongue.

If your family members gets hurt by your ways, well you have to adjust and soften your style if you don't wanna hurt them, its just what it is. Its hard but thats what you need for your wellbeing. Don't see it like "I meet you halfway, so you guys have to meet me halfway".

Yea, I read that Cancers and Libras are so sensitive with the "tone". Wrong "tone", you triggered the dislikeness. (Why it feels like I'm trying to put a mask in front of them from now on? )

I am curious though, why Cancers and Libras quick to get offended by what I am saying. With my other friends who have not those placement, they don't find any wrong at all.

I don't know if it is called a resentment? But in the past I have a problem with communication that I can not communicate freely that I have a fear of rejection if I talk. When I get bullied I can't tell my feelings or what happens. When I am in abusive relationship I don't know how to tell people. It heals slowly when I find the roots which is in my home. Then I can communicate without fear but it seems I always end up offending Cancers and Libras..

My husband has Mercury trine Pluto too, and he has easier time to say it too while I take a lot of time to get there.

I think some people do not like to feel exposed and once I explode, they don't like to hear their own truth.
