Well the general answer would indeed be retrograde periods, so I'm not sure what else to tell you. Really anything else could indicate an ex reunion. That's because it is completely dependent on the reasons for their meeting up again. Jupiter square Saturn in someone's 11th and 2nd house could mean the reunion happened for educational and work reasons, possibly because of a push (accidental or purposeful) by friends. But yes the general rule is likely for retrograde periods.

She can post her natal with transits of the day she reunited with him and that would be helpful but she cannot post a synastry as this thread would have to be moved to interpersonal readings naturally, these are the rules of the forum. Like I said before she can start a separate thread there if she wants her synastry to be read or examined.
