If you have Moon square, opposition or conjunction Saturn what kind of person do you think need? In regards to relationships?

There is an entrapment of free expression and creativity here. A bounded emotional experience. The Moon is "contained".

These people cannot have anyone too "out there". It can be emotionally triggering to be around people that are too free and easy as it reminds them of the fear of having their own boundaries around their emotions broken.

Also, being around people that are free and easy can conjure up feelings of envy for these Saturn/Moon conjuncts.

On the other side, they instinctively understand that it would benefit themselves, benefit their poor restrained Moon, if the bounds of Saturn could be a little less brittle. If the boundaries could gain some flexibility at least.

Therefore, they do need someone that will help to soften those boundaries, but only a bit. Anything too much is a no-go. Ans it has to happen slowly, over time.

The Moon needs to be understood without words.. So, someone that also has that Saturn/Capricorn energy is good. But this is obvious. This will make them feel understood and safe. But maybe someone too with some empathy and emotional qualities that can ease them to leak a little emotion here and there. But definitely not too much.

If there is too much emotionalism around them, they will feel threatened and will become more restricted, and also cold, critical, and authoritarian around such people.

So someone with Saturn or Capricorn influences? Maybe Cap Descendant or Cap Moon?

So well said Sassaqua

My Dad has Moon-Saturn conjunct. And my Mom is perfect for him as she has Venus-Saturn conj, Mars-Saturn opp and Saturn/Juno conjunct too.

I think Moon-Saturn need emotionally self reliable people or those who are emotionally independent:Aqua placements can also appeal.

It is necessary that you are not emotionally demanding. That the relationship be formal a little.

Someone emotionally stable and very in touch with his emotions, and good at expressing them in a healthy way with words. Someone to hold me and say everything will be allright when I'm upset, sad or angry or defensive.

Well I don't want anyone who's emotionally closed off like me. Someone who will comfort me when I need it. And not judge me and understand that I'm not emotionally expressive. But also let me have space. I don't really do well with water signs. I always think they are too emotional. But maybe that's what I need lol. Or maybe someone who has water in their chart.

My husband has Saturn square Moon, and I have Saturn conjunct Venus (Capricorn). I am also Aquarius rising. So your comment really caught my attention!

My husband had a very emotionally-charged childhood. He got his drama from his mama Finding someone who was emotionally stable and independent was very important for him. I provide a safe, structured space for him to explore and express his emotions without fear of judgment or retaliation. I have helped him understand how to own his emotions and not let them have control over his life or actions.

He has helped me to express my emotions and not keep them bottled up until I explode in a fit of rage

One of my favorite quotes I regularly come back to:

"Your perception of me is a reflection of you,
My reaction to you is an awareness of me"

I am seeing someone who has Moon in Pisces conjunct Saturn. I have a Cap moon and a strong 10th house... so this sounds positive!

You really described it well. I have other aspects to my moon as well, but I certainly feel the Saturn in there too. And what you said certainly resonates with me.

^^ yes, Someone’s Saturn on my moon certainly helps. Have now had this in two of my most significant relationships.
Interesting about the Aquarian influence too. I have someone’s saturn on my moon and they have moon/Uranus. But I’m also uranian too with Uranus on my ascendant and Juno in aqua. He has juno in cap on my IC. Quite nice. Trying to find that balance but above all I’ve befn working on gaining that security from myself. Being a rock within. And it’s working. It’s amazing what you can do despite astrology. I feel like my Saturn has softened as I’ve gotten older. I’m more compassionate towards it too. Very aware of when it tries to dominate. I think self awareness is key. Learning how to ask what what you need is paramount for moon/Saturn 💖

moon square saturn here (taurus-leo). i need someone who is emotionally strong and healthy and benevolent, someone with whom i will feel safe and who will lift my spirit carefully. moon square saturn suffers from inferiority complex, often scared that they are not enough (smart, capable, beautiful), often feeling not worthy of love, that they do not deserve to be loved, and very much aware of it‘s ugly side (which we all have), maybe too much. so they need someone who will see pass this ugly, scared, sad side of them and who will love them unconditionally.

Thanks everyone. I thought I'd give it a shot.

Aries23Degrees -

"It is necessary that you are not emotionally demanding. That the relationship be formal a little."

I'm dealing with a Mars opposite Saturn right now. The same applies to to him and getting him into the the sack. It seems to be working. He needs slow, formal, reassuring and not demanding.

We can see how these Saturn themes can be taken to every planet.

squirrel -
"moon square saturn suffers from inferiority complex, often scared that they are not enough (smart, capable, beautiful), often feeling not worthy of love, that they do not deserve to be loved, and very much aware of it‘s ugly side (which we all have), maybe too much. so they need someone who will see pass this ugly, scared, sad side of them and who will love them unconditionally."

This is so beautifully said ^^. Can see how compassion is really needed for the planet bounded by Saturn.

Saturn is good because it grounds and gives earthy, physical form, and expression to the planets. But, planets do really belong in the sky. So.. there's both some resistance and relinquishing that goes on from the planet entrapped by the demands of Saturn.

Moon-Saturn people can be reserved and a little "depressive" in their self-worth. I remember a Moon conj Saturn friend told me he believes no one will miss him when he dies although he's actually a well-loved person in our circle.

Echoing everyone here, Moon-Saturn people need someone emotionally stable. They cannot handle too much emotions e.g. people who get easily angered, excited or hysterical. They run far away and don't wanna deal with them. They may shut these people out of their lives.

I somehow attract people with Moon-Saturn or Venus-Saturn. They gravitate towards me. My brother and three of my closest friends have Moon-Saturn aspects. My best friend of 20yrs has Venus-Saturn. The current guy I'm dating and my ex both have Venus-Saturn as well. What's significant is in all these relationships, I'm like their close confidante...they feel comfortable sharing their deepest fears/feelings with me. I personally have Saturn-Sun/Mercury/Mars aspects.

I have Cap Moon op Leo Saturn and my husband has Taurus Moon conj Saturn.

I am most def the goofy/aloof one and I can be very...umm electrical. My husband on the other hand is more grounded and he really doesn’t like that I’m free-spirited. I think it scares him sometimes which makes him forget that underneath my “space-kadett” tendencies, I have roots deeper than the ocean and am very loyal.

I honestly think most people with this aspect end up being alone. My auntie had Moon square Saturn in her birth chart. And she never married or had any children. She even lived alone and stayed to herself. She isolated herself from everyone. I have Venus square Saturn the orb is wide. And Moon parallel Saturn and is a close orb. Also Moon square Pluto doesn't help. I feel like I'll probably just end up being alone.

Well, if they don't meet the right one, they might. But that's not to say they shun people. These Moon-Saturn people I know have lots of friends, just that they don't necessarily enter a r/s just for companion sake.

Both my husband and I are moon square Saturn people to 1’. We also have moon sq Saturn in our composite. It’s honestly one of my favorite placements. I love Saturn energy, it is so homey and comfortable to me.

It’d probably surprise you to say that we are both individualsts and independent. We love spending time with each other of course but we also don’t mind when the other person has other obligations or commitments, as we are very busy people. We are not the type who has to do everything together. I don’t even like matching Halloween costumes. Sometimes we end up wearing something similar unintentionally and I’ll change just so we don’t look alike lol.

I love his aqua placements, it makes him a bit quirky and true to himself no matter what others think. He loves my soft gentle side with my Pisces placements. But I think what we both agree on are that we both value stability and reliability. We are both practical and down to earth in a relationship, nothing fussy or dramatic.

I think that can become a self fulfilling prophecy. I have a Cap Moon, so I could say that about myself too. Or what about a 10th house Moon?

The point I am making is that there is always a balancing partner out there for us, it's whether or not we seek them, find them, accept them.... Universe/God/World provides for us all. We decide which opportunities to take.
