Good morning everyone,

Can anyone shed some light as why and HOW my TWO-year old nephew’s Moon Conjunct Mars is already strongly expressing itself, yet his quadruple Aries brother (Jowin) has yet to display any Martian qualities? Lucas bites (literally) and does not take **** from A-NY-ONE, and always defies my older sister’s authority as a parent. It’s like he is ALWAYS ready for a fight, with EVERYone: Erika, his father, his grandmother, etc. Lucas sometimes makes Jowin cry, and Jowin is THREE years older than him.

They say the 7th House represents all aspects of the 2nd pregnancy and 2nd child, so I never would have thought my sister Erika’s 5th House Mars would express itself in BOTH her first 2 sons. In addition to a Moon-Mars conjunction, Lucas’s Mars is firmly positioned in his 3rd House of Intellect and I think Jowin has an Aries stellium in the 7th House. Not to mention, Jowin’s Aries Sun is in EXACT conjunction with His Aries Mars - but so far, all that’s being expressed is his peaceful as hell Libra Ascendant. It’s like he would not hurt a FLY, even if his LIFE depended on it.

By the way, isn’t it funny how Lucas and I have the same Moon Signs, yet I’m known by many as the most detached level-headed person out there who “barely cares” when it comes to certain things. I don’t know if it’s because I have both Mercury AND Virgo in The Third House Of Thought-Processes, but I’ve noticed that I have the ability to “turn off” my emotions anytime I feel the need; which is usually followed by responding and taking required action solely based on objectivity and analysis.

Not to mention, I’ve also realized that nothing truly ACTIVATES my temper, and my Cancer Mars is in the 1st House of Aries! I definitely relate to almost every word an Aries Mars native would, EXCEPT having negative zero anger control and impulsivity tendencies. I do not recall EVER acting on impulse at any point in my life ... maybe it’s because my 3rd House Leo Mercury trines my 10th House Taurus Saturn. Plus, I think the ONLY thing that would truly INFURIATE me, is if ANYone (I could not care LESS who they are) were to purposely say or do ANYthing to hurt my future boyfriend, future husband or the future 4 loves of my life who aren’t conceived yet, haha. That would make my blood BOIL. Aside from that, I don’t think I have ever been truly angry, with ANYone - VERY annoyed at most, but full-on you-must-be-asking-to-die-World-War-THREE anger?! Nope, not this 1st House Mars!

never heard the 2nd child 7th house thing though im a second child and my mothers 7th is taurus and other than it being my 8th house it isnt prominent in my chart (8th house ruler is conjunct my ascendant i suppose but it's venus in libra)

i can say libra ascendants can mellow out aries energy though i have an aries moon conjunct my nn opposite my venus/ascendant and people tell me im the calmest most laid back person theyve ever met

also 7th house planets tend to show themselves more with age as relationships become a thing

edit: i tend towards whole signs btw and what i see is a lot of 1st house stuff going on all being hit by your nephew's mars (moon is too far away to be a conjunction) and saturn which is probably where all the difficulty is really coming from

Thanks girrll! Hmm, interesting. Do you have a Libra Venus as well? If so, at which degree is it - as well as that of your Libra Ascendant?

Just realized I made a silly mistake in Lucas' DOB, it's August 12th not 13th, haha. My baad!

Jowin has an aries stellium with venus in the 7th. The first kid has an afflicted moon sesquisquare uranus so he will have a hard time regulating his emotions and temper tantrums with a rebellious streak. The aspects are key, with the calmer kid venus is involved with the more savage kid moon conjuncts mars and saturn so his moon is afflicted by two planets and moon sesquisquares Uranus (so unpredictable angry and rebellious outbursts), then add he has moon conjunct saturn and all that says he likes to feel in control, dominate and call the shots, you dont tell him what to do, that wont go well.

lol no problem, though it'd take some adjustments for me to be a proper lady

https://imgur.com/a/ucYzclR this is my chart

at only a day earlier i imagine mars and the moon both are just squaring all the first house stuff that mars was squaring already making it all the more visible and emotional

your nephew is likely to be extremely volatile in a visible way with all of that hitting his first house so hard

lol I just found something interesting. I thought at first, perhaps you live in Toronto now, then his Moon and Saturn would also be squaring the ascendant (in a wide orb though) and this could indicate frustrations in expressing oneself (plus add mars to the mix, conjuncting these planets).

However, you say they didn't move, but I do see in the chart that Moon and Saturn is still aspecting the ascendant with a quintile (72 degrees) and lo and behold, I google 'quintile' and just read it's even more compelling than the already dynamic square in effect. I think you will find the below explanation very telling of Lucas' behavior:

quote:

"Often overlooked in Astrological practice, I have found the quintile to be extremely useful in assessing personality traits. Quintiles show in what areas of life one is powerfully driven. These 1/5th or 1/10 (of a circle) aspects between planets create compulsive tendencies imbedded so deeply in one's being that they can become insurmountable, uncontrollable behavior patterns. Quintiles may be quite upsetting if we're not aware of them! They often show personality traits that we can't seem to help or even understand. While this may sound daunting, I believe that Quintiles give us incredible strengths and powers that push us to succeed in whatever it is we are here on this earth to accomplish.

Much more compelling than the dynamic Square aspect, the quintile sends us beyond reason into areas of the psyche that don't care whether or not we conform to or fit in with others. Depending on the closeness of the aspect (by degrees in orb) and the planets or personal points involved, our behavior may become obsessive and uncontrolled. On the other hand, without such compulsions, many of us would flounder in a sea of mediocrity."

I havn't read about 7th house representing the second sibling either. But it may be so dunno of course.

I have only read about 5th house representing ones children and transits to it.

In my mothers case its true.
She gave birth to me and 18 months later my brother, when Pluto was transit her 5th house which is Scorpio intercepted with sagg.

I'm higly plutonic, my brother is scorpio rising with pluto in first etc.

Then 11 years later she got my twin brothers.
And guess what, even then transit Pluto was in her 5th, but now in sagg.

My twin brothers are gemini stelliums opposite sagg Pluto.

Also, I have 3rd house in scorpio (siblings house) and all my siblings along with me are plutonic, what about that?

I can't speak to the rest of your concerns about the charts, but I can attest to what it's like to grow up with a Moon-Mars conjunction in a "detached" sign (mine is in Gemini).

Yes, I also got into a lot of fights as a kid, although a majority of the time, I was reacting/responding. I rarely remember instigating a fight. If I was bit as a toddler, I would bite back. If I was hit, I would hit back. If I was yelled at, I would yell back. It didn't really matter who it was, I would buck their expression of anger towards me. I was very bossy and "talking" long before I knew proper words. I wouldn't start a fight, but I would surely be the one to end it...and usually get in trouble. My Moon-Mars conjunction was also much more "visible" than my siblings Scorpio Moon and Sag Mars. Maybe it's because mine is conjunct my IC. I'm not really sure, tbh.

I grew up with an Aries Sun parent (my dad) and an Aries Moon parent (my mom). They encouraged me to do a lot of sports, which I was surprisingly good at, and also helped burn off excess energy. My ability to stand up for myself was never viewed as a "problem" but a strength. I feel like that's important...with such an strong aspect, I don't think it would be healthy if it were repressed or discouraged without an outlet.

That's my 2 cents.
