I’m asking because I strongly relate to all the interpretations of “Saturn In The 7th House”.

------------------
Taurean Cancer Ascendant
2nd House Leo Sun
3rd House Leo Mercury
6th House Sagittarius Moon
1st House Cancer Venus
1st House Martian Cancer Mars

Normally I would say "no, not really" but having a capricorn 5th house and saturn not at all in 5th (its in 4th in sagg) It seems I could as well had saturn planted smack on my 5th haha (sobbing )

I think it's similar.

Not equivalent, but some similarities in principle.

I think where Saturn is placed is where it is "stronger". This especially when in the 7th(accidental exaltation) or 10th (accidental home placement)

But it also influences the house that is on the Capricorn cusp. Especially where there are no planets there to " counter" or mitigate the influence.

Both are powerful really. Angular planets are important. But it gets more tricky afterwards-according to what I read online.

Sun/Mars in 7th gives accidental detriment by house position (Unless Venus/Saturn is there to strengthen it)

Saturn in 4th gives accidental detriment by house position (unless Moon/Venus or Jupiter is there to strengthen it)

Venus in 1st gives accidental detriment by house position (unless Mars/Sun is there to strengthen it)

Moon in 10th gives accidental detriment by house position (unless Saturn/Mars is there to strengthen it)

The accidental detriment suggests trouble and strife as the planet concerned can't fully express itself without being misunderstood.

I don't know really. I have Mercury in 9th and its in its accidental detriment. So apparently Mercury is not very "objective" in this house. Its less open-minded and prone to dogma etc.

I see,i have venus conjuct 7th house and though it is in its own house ive read its not that positive, since it oppose asc,so maybe it has to do with the aspects that the planets make.I think mercury in 9th house is very very nice aspect.

Venus in 7th is in its place of accidental dignity. So its strong.

There is so much contradictory info out there. It can be very confusing. But this is my rule.

Venus in 7th,2nd is dignified & strengthened.

Mars in 1st,8th is dignified & strengthened. Pluto in 8th

Saturn in 10th,11th is dignified. Uranus in 11th.

Moon in 4th is dignified

Sun in 5th is dignified

Mercury in 6th/3rd is dignified.

Jupiter in 12th/9th is dignified. Neptune 12th

The exaltations by house.

Sun in 1st
Moon in 2nd
Venus in 4th
Saturn in 7th
Uranus in 8th
Mars in 10th

Yes i agree, planets in their houses add good strength to them.My jupiter conjucts ic from 3rd,i ve read its not suitable to jupiter ,but 4rth house belongs to jupiter's exaltation sign ,so that matters in a positive way.So i dont agree with many that i read online.Mercury in 9th is supposed to be in wrong house short of speak, but many astrologers when they deal with a house ,always notice the opposite house too to see full picture.3,9 is one package.Mercury in 9 is part of that communication axis.

Interesting. Suspected that much. But didn't look at it like that.

Thing is that I also have Jupiter in 9th-so that adds dignity. So I assumed that it(Jupiter) negates the neg influences of other planets there.

Jupiter also rules the 9th AND is in Sag.

Oh I hope I get lucky in love. Sigh!

Trans Pluto is sextile my progressed Dsc in Scorpio. So maybe a transit of Jupiter may open up more opportunities on that end.

Been meeting people. But nobody "sticks" really.

saturn is in my 7th house and capricorn rules my 8th house...

where problems are concerened i've struggled with 7th house more...

however having cap rule my 8th house i always had low sex drive and was a bit of an asexual..which made me insecure cuz i couldn't really please my partners sexually but at the same time i didn't care cuz it really wasn't something i wanted in my life...

cap def diminished the houses effect but not in too much of a painful way...not as much as saturn in my 7th house at least...although not having sex appeal was a little bit of bummer through out life...i mean a lot...
