Well. What we can be sure of is the prominence of Mars/Moon square. They can display quite a temper-add to that Jupiter in the mix(explosive)I would stick with the Scorpio DSC. With the Ic being in Aqua-often showing early instability. Especially when Moon/Jupiter is there.
The Moon shows ups/down and many changes of residences. Even a time being homeless or lacking home stability. And with Jupiter conjunct, there is grit to survive and overcome all that though positivity and "I can make it" attitude. Add to that the Mars/Pluto in 1st house.
The "dumbness" you speak of or slight retardation could be Neptune conjunct Merc(hazy/short attention span),Chiron in Gemini(mental wounds) forming an inconjunct aspect with Mercury (intellect).
Saturn in Sag also opposing Chiron in Gemini suggesting that there is definitely a complex or wound around learning capabilities.
Also Sun/Merc/Venus in 3rd could make him quite opinionated and egotistical about his opinion. But there is a semi square from Saturn (he feels inferior even when he is loud and boisterous).
All those planets could make him street smart. But because Jupiter is in mutual reception with Saturn and opposed by Chiron,it is "higher education" or elevating his mental skills that is tough.
The square of Jupiter to Mars makes him intimidated by the smart "educated" type. I am sure he even makes fun of them etc. To deflect from the fact that he couldn't get that far with schooling and thus "devalues" it to save face.
The square may also motivate him to try and prove a point or "outdo" others to prove himself smart and "better". Even if he didn't finish school etc.
He probably is overcompensating for his lack of intellectual prowess in other ways. That's why he always wants to win fights. There is a complex here definitely with regards to education or being educated.
The irony however with Saturn-Jupiter in mutual reception ,suggests that this complex will push and motivate him to educate himself in less conventional ways his whole life through so that he is " on par" with those who went ahead of him. And an "expert" in his own right.
So if he fights. He fights to win(as stated above). If he were to get into business, he wants to own the business and get to the very top etc. This aspect pushes him to achieve greatness without accreditation or minimum support.
My friend has the conjunction between Jupiter and Saturn and I see that with him too. In that he reads and educates himself ferociously.
Then he "judges" those who went to varsity and pits himself against them in order to "win" and prove that higher education is nothing "special" ( because he never went there)
Is he a Trump supporter? Jupiter-Saturn folks are often avid supporters or admirers of "self made" people.
