There's this guy that seems to know a whole lot of **** which I would mostly identify as a Sagittarian trait... He's got no planets in Sagittarius though (except Pluto).

Jupiter does aspect his Sun and Mars though, but then again this other guy was born just 4 days later and has the same aspects - except it also aspects his moon but is in no way Jupiterian-like.

I wonder why that is so? What makes a person 'well learned'?

He's not the Gemini-like know it all type. (Which besides he's got no planets in Gemini either) It's rather the Sagittarius sort.

Edit: No ninth house stuff either if I got his TOB right which I believe I do. His Jupiter though is in his 3rd, again if I got his time right.

Well post his chart! My partner has jupiter in virgo in the 5th and is always trying a new hobby that requires learning many details to be able to complete.

He accumulates a lot of knowledge and has mercury in scorpio conjunct eros in the 6th. He talks a lot and wants to share with others everything he knows and learns.

He has an empty 9th house but Saturn rules his 9th and conjuncts his Sun and squares his moon. So his 9th house ruler conjuncts his Sun and Squares his Moon, his moon trines his mercury conjunct eros, this is a daily thing for him to accumulate knowledge.

I feel he has that 9th house ruler influencing his luminaries and also a strong virgo presence bc of Jupiter is in virgo in the 5th so learning for him is like a hobby, just fun. Add that mercury in the 6th conjunct Eros, he feels passionate about learning.

So:

9th house ruler conjunct Sun
9th house ruler square Moon
Mercury conjunct Eros in the 6th trine Moon
Jupiter in Virgo in the 5th.

Alright here's his chart. Although I don't know his TOB, I believe I'm not too off with it. The planets and angles align well given his personality.

Mercury rules his 9th and conjuncts his 5th cusp, again that theme of learning for fun not to meet an objective like getting a degree, a true love for learning can lead to accumulating a lot of knowledge. Also Jupiter in the 3rd like you pointed out sextile sun conjunct mars in the 5th, again reinforcing a love for debate, learning and communication.

Good point about the ninth house Mercury conjunct fifth, the fun of learning idea. Never looked at it from that angle. I guess that confirms his TOB even stronger lol. Thanks!

True, also thought so at first. But then reminded myself of that other guy born a couple of days later with the same Mercury... He's nothing like this guy. So thought this placement in itself can't be it.

Jupiter in 3rd in its own house makes him interested in everything.

Plus Jupiter in Cap is in mutual reception to Saturn in Pisces. So he wants to be an EXPERT

The guy born 4days later could have the energy concentrated elsewhere.
