What aspects or placements in a natal chart would indicate someone who keeps saving so much money, very hesitant to pay for their own food or even go out, but then when they see something they like, they're willing to pay even more than their budget for it? IP: Logged |

Sounds like Jupiter and Saturn aspecting each other(preferably hard aspects), as well as aspecting Moon or Venus, or maybe even Mars, or in 2nd house or 2H Ruler.IP: Logged |

Initially I thought that it's my Taurean tendencies (Sun) in conflict with my Gemini tendencies (Moon and rising). Although anonymidarkness might be right, cuz I do have Jupiter oppose Saturn aspecting my Moon (which is my second house ruler). The saving part is something I used to do though, not anymore. I realized that living a stingy life is not worth it. You can always make money, time passes though and it being spent in meagerness is just 😏. IP: Logged |

i know a lot of scorpios who can be like that with money and things, where they don't like spending it but then they also obsessively collect and hoard stuff and impulse buy things they "need" i don't know a single person with heavy scorpio who isn't obsessive with getting deals when they do shop and then complains about spending money in general IP: Logged |

Thank you guys for all your replies! I am just trying to figure out someone who's birthday I do not know for sure. I was thinking Pluto there too or maybe Chiron in the 2nd but I am not sure. My first guess was definitely Mars and Saturn both in the 2nd house.IP: Logged |

Cancer Sun with Taurus Moon and Chiron in the 2nd. Describes this man to a T.Very careful how he spends his money unless it's something HE wants. Prone to going on a spree, then locking it down for a while. Not necessarily big on brand name everything but it does have to be nice/good quality, so what he does buy ends up costing him more than average. He's not a "bargain hunter" either, it's just...if he wants it, he'll buy it, even if it's full price. The stinginess has made him a very good saver and very money-savvy as an upside, but it does make him extremely choosy as to what he spends it on and it has to be worth it. IP: Logged |

I hope I'm not late to the game here.I can sorta be like that, but that because of my mothers Cancer influence. Being the Cancer Sun, Aries moon person that she is she likes to feel she has money but is also insecure with losing money. So naturally I try to stay practical on most things ..then put the difference I save for other things. For example I moved back to downtown..rent is abit more expensive but I save so much on everything else being closer to everything and putting my car away for the winter. I can walk or take the subway which is cheap ($3), reliable and comes every 5 minutes. Compare that with gas, insurance, wear and tear on the vehicle. Not a believer of people that live beyond there needs for bragging rights..I mean who are they trying to impress. My Capricorn cousin who I have to deal with this Christmas is like that. Every time he starts boosting I add...your also 20k in the red. You don't actually own anything, but the bank owns you. But if its a parent that has to go in debt to raise a family and is trying, I'm a lot more sympathetic. I keep a good rate of attrition thought and make sure expenses are always less then or equal current cash. My Planets
