I can't explain it. I have nothing in Taurus and only my North Node in the second house, yet I'm really attracted to this energy. Here's my chart. Can someone explain?

Your strong Piscean energy plus those neptunian squares may make you attracted to a stabilizing energy and Taureans are known to be very stable. Where's your Juno?

Taurus Sun/Mercury here btw.

My guess is you're attracted to their reputation for being stable and committed partners in romance.

Just a random observation I noticed. I noticed you have Descendant in Capricorn and you're really attracted to Taurus energy.

I have Descendant in Taurus and I'm really attracted to Capricorn energy. I'm actually interested in the replies you'll get in case I can apply similar reasoning to figure out why I like Capricorns so much.

It's more like the vibes they give off. I don't really care much about reputations and the boyfriend I have now is my first relationship ever, I was never really into relationships before. It's also long distance which suits me well.
I just like the fact that they seem to be rooted within themselves if that makes sense? On the other hand the stubbornness and the inflexibility can be quite a challenge. I'm very active and fast so this might be a thing of opposites attract

This may be a bit outside of the box thinking of me, but..

First and foremost, ehum, that Chiron in Taurus. So you definitely have atleast an important placement in taurus.

The more concise connection that I can see, and I know some may not agree with me on this,

is that you have virgo as IC and to some astrologers, Chiron is concidered the true ruler of virgo, instead of mercury.

I do agree with this. Just seems more natural with chiron as virgo ruler.

Dual rulers is weird imo BUT its not agreed upon I know that.

Anyways, so if we look at Chiron as your IC ruler, Chiron is in Taurus.

The ic represents what and where we feel "at home" with and at ease with.

Its a familiar energy. You would feel "at home" with people having taurean energies

Wow really well put! And yeah it kinda feels very much like home. Also, it's like we "get" each other on a deep level (not necessarily mentally or emotionally because we are usually very different in this respect) and of course the stability just helps my scatter brained self lol
Thank you for your input!

I'm glad if it did shed some light! Controversial or not^^

Can you show us a chart where aspects to chiron is shown?

You can chose "aspects to all objects" or "to chiron" in astro.coms chart page. Its on the bottom to the right, where you choose asteroids etc

Ok I'll try. An energy that I very often find in people who have Taurus sun and which has a calming effect on me. They ooze stability, sensuality and cosiness to me. They seem to be very much rooted within themselves. When others tend to panic they remain calm, only very few things can faze them. They also seem very friendly and good natured and cuddly

You forgot "stubborn as hell, very posessive of their valuable objects and loved ones.

Lazy. Too much routines.

Strong opinions they wont budge on even one little millimeter.

Also they can be truly scary when you manage to anger them :P"

Hahaha that's true (my bf is Taurus sun)! But I was focussing on the positives mostly I'm not too attracted to the stubborn/won't budge/inflexibe af side. And, oh yeah the laziness is legendary! I like to be lazy at times as well but I feel he is taking it to a new level. And yeah he doesn't get angry easily (contrary to me, lol) but when he does, beware!
Edit: as for the strong opinions: mine and his opinions differ on most things and in the beginning we were debating these things and it was like talking to a wall. There is such an inflexibility even when presented with facts it's astonishing. I stopped debating stuff with him that we both have differing opinions on, it's just tiring and leads nowhere

Taurus has 2nd house cusp in Gemini, so they build their world on the firm foundations of having known something from relative personal experience(Gemini).

Ime, not to say that Taurus is "dumb" or "rigid". Knowledge has to be practical and prove useful(Cap in 9th).

Philosophy, abstract ideas and open-endedness scares them(8th house Sag) because they are not tried and tested. And this kind of "flakiness" or tendency to be passionate about flimsy wayward things, can turn their secure world topsy turvy.

I think it could be Cancer in 1st house conjunct Asc that attracts you to them. Moon is exalted Taurus after all & Cancer Moon often gravitates to them.

Your chiron also is sextile your venus. And venus is taurus ruler and also, venus can also represent our taste, what we are attracted to etc

The other aspects chiron does is quintiles etc. Those aspects ae mysterious to me for now. Some call them minor aspects. Some call see them as special aspects.

But the moon is very tightly Quintile the chiron. And the moon as Aries23 points it out above, is excalted in taurus, so maybe that is a factor aswell? You feeling safe with that energy and all.

Yeah as you see there are quite a few factor in interplay, what we can see atleast. Dunno if I'm right or wrong ^^

Taurus Sun/Mercury here btw.

Im a Pisces and even though I seem to make friends with Taurus moons/Taurus energy very often I find them frustrating lol They are boring to me. Too much concern for everyday life if that makes sense lol and don’t have the same interests as me. But I notice this more in Taurus moon. My grandma is a Taurus moon and she is the person I am closest with yet everytime we talk we disagree or she doesn’t like the things I talk about and vice versa. But it’s funny how most people I feel close to are Taurus’ .. I don’t know

yeah I saw that Venus sextile Chiron and moon quintile Chiron, too and thought that might explain my attraction or at least add to it
Also I find Taureans quite funny. We usually share the same sense of humour

I do find the inflexibility incredibly frustrating, because I am so active and quick and they are usually not. So that's where we clash. But all in all I find them really sweet. Boring? I don't know, those I surround myself with are quite funny

But shouldn't I be attracted to other water signs then? (which I'm really not). I don't identify with the Cancer sign very much either. I don't need that much closeness and I'm not clingy at all and all those other things astrology attributes to Cancer.
Maybe it really is the Chiron thing. Also my NN is in the 2nd house. Maybe Taurus is here to teach me to integrate more Taurean characteristics?

They can be funny but I think it’s frustrating that they don’t think outside the box sort to speak. Like they are just about working, cleaning, sleeping. The ones I know don’t think about anything else. They want to stay in the same town. Don’t like to travel. So boring for me. I like exploring places. I like learning about other cultures and have interest in the spiritual realm. I want to go abroad but my Taurus moon grandma has a hard time understanding that. I don’t like following trends but a lot of them are huge trend followers. My best friend was a Taurus moon and I didn’t like how she always tried to fit in and talk to the “cool kids”. She was the type that followed along with what ever other people did and Im like why!? It’s my issue honestly lol Im just weird. It’s not her/them it’s me. I just have a weird view on things and Taurus is normal.

Yes that’s possible. I said your moon because both Taurus and Cancer are domestic and want stability in life. They both want a stable life and care a lot about family and home life. But it might be your Chiron like others said. Or NN because I have NN in Virgo and I am attracted to Virgo moon guys for some reason. And I think it’s because I need their ability to ground themselves in me. So maybe 2nd NN plays a part in it as well. I have Juno in Taurus but don’t always attract to Taurus men. I have Chiron in Scorpio but don’t like Scorpio either. But maybe it’s the combo of Chiron and NN
