i'm very attracted to it but they don't seem attracted to me

i have a lot of fire and air in my chart and i feel i come off as too much....i feel i need to tone it down aroudn them and i do try...

i try to be nice, i try to be submissive, i even try to play dumb around them to make them feel smart...to an extent....and i still feel like they find my energy too much....

what are some adjectives you'd use to describe what draws in cancer enrgy...

i also think being skinnier would make me come off more feminine, they seem to be influenced by beauty...at least the ones i'm thinking of...and both have commented on my weight.....

They will only gel with someone who has the Moon /Sun in "Douche". So unless you have placements there, its NOT your territory.

But if you insist on attracting Cancer, channel chilly/stern Saturn energy that Aquas and Cap have. Be VERY reserved. They seem to gravitate to that ime.

The other possibility is to be broody/sulky and channel Mars/Pluto energy. The type that Scopio has. Watch "Amistad" and get all intense and mad about slavery/human injustice. Make sure you look constipated. That works too,

Not sure why but I really dislike people brooding and sulking. Makes me depressed and just wanna get outta there. Especially with the intensity of Pluto, can't handle it.

First tried to be serious, then innocent, then smart, then funny etc. But nothing worked on her. Except I never tried to show money cos I don't have that.

Cancerians gravitate towards people who are emotionally stable because they can be unsure at times so they seek security in their interactions. They can be selective who they let in. Your strong fire/air chart may have given them a flighty, impersonal feel and if you're too warm, they retreat. My ex is a Cancer Sun and he doesn't like people all over him. All my Cancer Mars friends/bf/mom don't handle others' emotions well too. They will show concern but you can tell they're also at a loss as they'll get all emotional together with you.

You also need to give the crabs time to come out of their shells. They don't like dumb people. They do enjoy humour though.

but cancer people are overall deeply affected by kindness

charity, especially those involving children...delicious foods containing a lot of carbs...a soft nature and the colors light pink and light blue...also pearl jewelry

personality-wise, they like someone who is polite, sweet and innocent looking

I don't advise you to be too stern or intense with them

you will also probably need to be quite patient with them, as they ponder a lot before making a decision on whether to get in a relationship or not...they like their own space a lot

unless their chart is packed with fire, it might be a good idea to show interest in them first and then let them pursue you

Being dumb is not equivalent to being soft.

I used to think that way too about heavy water people. I have heavy air in my chart. But that's not what softness is all about. Being soft means trusting someone enough and being able to express your emotions freely without care of what others will think. That's what Cancers are gravitated to, in my experience.

They can also sense manipulation because they unconsciously doing it themselves. You playing dumb around them to make them feel smart is a form of manipulation. They are more intelligent than they let on.

They do like Saturn energy too and Pluto energy, if they can handle it. It all just depends on the rest of their chart.

I find that they like people with a lot of depth. And not the kind an air heavy person would think (talks about space, existence, social issues, etc). They like depth in the sense of understanding someone's psychology--who and what made others who they are. They relate very well with people who can touch their heart. People who understand them not just mentally but also emotionally. Someone who knows even just a little bit how it feels to be in their shoes.

Also, Cancer, out of all the signs is the most notorious for being attracted to voluptuous women. Not fat, but full-figured. Being skinny might not help in your case, unless his Mars is in either Gemini, Virgo, or Cap. But even that only points to initial and only physical attraction. What you have to offer beyond that is the question.

I think water signs perceive air signs to be shallow because a lot of times, we don't like to show our emotions thinking they are signs of weakness. We live too much in our logic. It actually does the opposite and makes us look weaker. Even how you are describing your approach is very logical.

Consider that to be attracted to Cancer energy and what it represents is very different from being involved in an intimate way with Cancer energy. Have you ever been in an intimate or long-term relationship with a Cancer/water-heavy individual?

You may end up struggling with it in the long run because it can be incredibly overwhelming. Being a fire/air heavy individual you might feel suffocated, smothered or tied down by the way they express their energy. As much as you may find them adorable at first, these things only become obvious after getting deep into the trenches with them.

As everyone else has already drove home, you should only express who YOU really are and the right person will come into your life. It would be a shame to "try" to be anything other than yourself only to wind up feeling like you're living a lie and you've set yourself and the other person up for disappointment.

Weight does not matter, no matter WHAT sign it is. The right person will appreciate you no matter what size you are. I don't like seeing this generalization when referring to astrology.

I used to love Sagittarian women -- straight, lesbians, I did not care. I could detect them on sight. I wanted one so bad. It seemed deep. Problem was I was generally not able to keep up with their free-flowing, fiery tempo. I'm a slow, tortoise (Taurus). Finally, I learned that many of the qualities that I appreciated in them were actually in me, but latent. I decided to develop those qualities more, no matter how long it takes, and appreciate myself more.

I'm married now and my wife is a Gemini, a very Jupiterian personality with Moon in Leo. That's enough fire for me.

You may be projecting onto Cancerian men the need for secure, home-based, family-oriented, lovey-dovey connection. You don't have to be with a Cancer to get satisfaction for those feelings.
