Topic: Leader with no sun, moon, ascendant in air?

I have:
aries sun
sun sextile mars
sun in 10 house
6 cardinal planets
ascendant in cancer
mars square pluto(I know this can go overboard, but I try to keep it in check )
and other aspects which show a good organizer

It goes without saying, I set my mind on becoming a leader in my field. Unfortunately I don't have any air sign in those main aspects, as specified on the title. From your experience, would that be that much of a drawback, given how important a factor is communication?IP: Logged |

You are taking this too literally... I think you are definitely not using astrology in a good way if you feel it is holding you back from something you want to do. There is so much more to the chart than the sun, moon, and ascendant; I don't know where the notion came from that those are the "main" features of the chart or whatever. Fire is the sign of the leader, and sun in the 10th is an indication of that, as well. Not every great leader has the perfect mixture of elements and placements in their chart.
If you are worried about communication, don't tell yourself, "I might not be good enough at communication so I should not become leader". Think, "My birth chart indicates that communication might be an issue for me, and I relate to that, so I'm going to put a lot of effort into communication once I become leader". IP: Logged |

Most important thing to remember...I agree with everything they said. The perfect mixture doesn't exist, but there are hints to show some commonalities. If you want to be a leader, then fight your way up there and be a good leader to those who work under you. You shouldn't let your natal chart hold you back from your dreams. IP: Logged |

Agree with this. Also, on the communication bit, I would suggest looking at it based on your experiences. Just because you lack air doesn't mean you are going to be bad at communication; do you struggle with communication in reality? If so then work on trying to better your communication skills; don't assume that there's an issue with you just because of something happening in your chart. We all have free will. IP: Logged |

First off, leader in what field? 'No air sign in those main aspects , as specified on the title. ', you mean houses or the planets and ascendant you mentioned in the title? And as previously mentioned, you have to look at the complete chart. You may have rather trouble seeing the bigger picture in situations which is also an important feature of a leader. IP: Logged |

Well, I don't express myself very well in English, I don't know if that has to do with having no air features.  )
Because I was asked, I also have mercury square saturn which makes me think before speak and my only air is mars, venus and north node(in aquarius).
Having aries sun, cancer rising, leo in third house, aries in 11 house,I rely more on nonverbal communication when having to talk at length. Otherwise I'm very brief. Don't read to much into my post, so as to think I took something literally. Despite having read somewhere that you can't be a leader without having air in those features, I don't have a real concern with that. It was just a hypothesis that I tried to prove right or wrong.
My question would be: if sun, moon and ascendant aren't main features, then which are?IP: Logged | |
