Is this ever not a bad thing? My son has it and I’m a little scared that it means I am going to die or something bc I love my kids so much and would never be bad to them

12th house Moon could suggest your son has an extremely sensitive emotional mind(Moon). In that they often pick up a lot of atmospheric. vibrational energies and undercurrents(12th).

They could feel inexplicably me things like the "presence" of someone or something. Sometimes even see things that will have them question the "real" from the "unreal".

What sign is the Moon and aspect to it?Any other planets in the 12th?

His placements can't predict your fate.

I have this placement. I'm very close with my mom and always have been. So isn't indicative of being distant with a parent either. Although I get it that sometimes it could, since my sun is in my twelfth as well and although my father is 'physically' present I feel very distant to him. (4th house ruled by sun in twelfth so maybe that explains it)

I have cancer moon in the 12th house. I think this placement just makes me more intuitive. I am way more sensitive than my mother and she gets annoyed by it sometimes tbh. We also don’t see eye to eye on most things, but what brings us together the most is spirituality. I learned tarot and traditions from her and she guides me in the right direction constantly....which makes sense bc to me the 12H is the house is spirituality and the occult. Idk how to describe this placement when it comes to my mom except REALLY close and connected on some things and others so far off we get frustrated and just stop talking abt or engaging in whatever it is we were doing and back to something else to keep peace between us. My mother also got diagnosed w type 2 diabetes a yr before she got pregnant w me and then had a few health scares after I don’t attach this to astrology tho more like genetics and diet etc.

I can see why you would find it scary. But I dont think it’s something to worry about. I have my moon in the 12th house and Im an adult, my mom is present and has been present in my life. It’s just that my relationship with my mom is distant. Im not close with her and never have been. My grandma raised me like her child. I don’t hate my mom or resent her, Im just not close with her. During her pregnancy and the time while I was little she said she was under a lot of trauma because of my father. I think my mom has some sort of mental illness I jusr dont know what. Something to do with her moods. Maybe bipolar disorder, although she hasn’t been diagnosed. But I don’t think that my relationship with my mom is due to my moon in the 12th. It was already there, even if my moon wasn’t in the 12th house. I know of other people with moon in the 12th house and they are close with their mom and she’s still alive haha
I don’t believe astrology predicts things. You see my father has been out of my life (and passed away a couple years ago in prison) and yet I don’t have Sun in the 12th house! Which would indicate an absent father. So see every circumstance is different.
I believe you are the creator of your destiny. I think your child just might be more inclined to introversion and habe trouble living in this world(if he’s like me; this is from my experience and may not apply to all 12th mooners; not to mention I have several other planets in the 12th so the moon alone there may not do harm) . I don’t think it should affect you. Just show your child love and care and understanding. No criticisms or judgements. Understand them. You will already be straying from the type of relationship I had with my mother. I found myself insecure around her(still do) because she is very critical and judgmental of me(and others) since I was little. I felt like she didn’t like me and was judging me all the time. She has a Virgo moon. So from my experience don’t judge him lol

I don’t think you will have any problems since you are worried amd aware. It shows you already are on the right track.

His moon is in Taurus❤️ Will have to look up the aspects. I wonder if it’s bc I am a Pisces and do lots of esoteric-y stuff. My five year old uses tarot cards and pendulums and whatnot so maybe it’s that influence?

Noooo 12th House Moon hasn't anything to do with death of the Mom. The 12th House hasn't anything to do with death!! I believe death is signified by the IC and the cause and circumstances link to the 8th House.

What aspects does he have? It will be less easy for him to be in touch with his emotions, he may appear very feeling and needy and regard himself as removed and self-sufficient. The 12th House is like a veil, it cloaks the experience of the planets housed here for the native, but for the outside world the veil is translucent and evocatively obvious at times!

The aspects to his Moon will give you clues as to how to help him feel liberated and expressive. It's important he doesn't block his feelings (that's not good for anybody) but you can teach him ways to access them by regarding the rest of the chart. ♥

I forgot to mention that 12th house moon also can signify a mother into spirituality stuff or is psychic, into all that is ethereal. That can very well be what your sons moon in the 12th house signifies of his mother. Being that it appears you’re into that stuff.

A very rich internal life. An inner world of elves, goblins, harry potter, faeries and make believe places of wonder that one escapes to.

The emotional mind(Moon) is firmly placed in a place where escapism is nurtured(12th). This individual is likely very chilled as they are sensitive.

Taurus Moon makes him attractive and likeable. But likely to be a loner or prefer alone time from others. Finds own company pleasurable.

Aspects may mitigate what is written above- especially from Pluto/Mars or Uranus.

Definitely makes sense because we are all about fairies and my daughter always talks to fairies and angels

I just checked my son's chart and his moon trines Pluto at 0 degrees. It squares Jupiter at 5 degrees and sextiles Neptune at 5 degrees

Pluto trine Moon speaks of emotional(Moon) conditioning or socialisation (Pluto). The early environment forms a strong foundation for one's motivations and inner rationale.

Typically speaking, the nurturer or mother archetype (not always necessarily female),is very influential in that they (maternal role model) are able to seep into the unconscious thought patterns of the native and influence them.

This influence pertains to trust, thought patterns and beliefs that the native has that may be so deeply ingrained, it will take hypnosis or intense psychological therapy to remove.

Pluto-Moon is the emotional conditioning of an individual in much the same way that the religious extremists may indoctrinate someone from birth.

Its very hard to reverse once started. So one as the maternal parent, must be very careful as to which way they try to influence the child. As if manipulated, the child may grow to resent or distance themselves from the parent if they find that the truth outside their known environment contradicts the guidance they received from someone that they trusted from within it.

The sextile of Neptune and square of Jupiter speak the same language. There is a lot of idealism and belief without question that the individual affords the early home environment.

Either the individual may see the way they grew up as "ultimate" and "best". Or they may hold the .maternal parent in a very high regard; seeing them as infallible and intrinsically without error etc.

In the extreme, one may see themselves as the model of how ones family or home environment " should" be etc. Preaching absolute adherence to that model to the masses etc. To a point of being self-righteous and preachy.

At best one can strive to model the same ideal environment when building their own home with their own partner and children. And ideal nest with all the creature comforts of home that they grew up knowing.

Moon-Jupiter emphasizes Cancer as Moon rules Cancer and Cancer is exalted in Jupiter. So this individual prizes the home environment or is someone who finds the inner life or inner awareness richly rewarding to invest in etc.

Sometimes the likelihood could be that they(moon Jupiter square types) find emotional attraction to individuals that they may be blind to or not be objective about (Neptune/Jupiter types).

The trick here would be to be careful that your son doesn't become "catfished" or taken in by people who pretend to be something they are not. Or able to tell those who are honest and sincere from those that are not.

I have the Sun/Neptune/Jupiter triple conjunction. I am aware of the idealism and self deception that can accompany both planets and the lessons can be painful.

You need to instill in him as he gets older that hero worship can lead to deception. That divinity is something we all strive for endlessly. And that nobody is beyond reproach. Even those he regards as irreproachable (yourself included).

With the Jupiter-Moon-Neptune mix, your son can be gullible and taken in by "larger than life" personalities that have charisma and charm. Even when they lead him into a ditch.

If he is feeling sad he will likely want alone time in his room or to be left alone. A lot of people I've known well have this placement...Be gentle with his emotions.
