Hi, when Jupiter Transited my first house, I was feeling pretty good in my skin and made some pretty good friendships. When it transited my 2nd house, I didn't come into any money I just started wanting it more and become more superficial. When it transited my 3rd house, I dropped out of school again. Now it just crossed my 4th House cusp on Christmas Day and I felt angry at my family because I'm always misunderstood. Jupiter transits either do nothing for me or bring me some temporary good feelings that end up not ever lasting. Like to this day I don't have any friends, no money and I still can't focus on school lol. What now my family is going to disown me? Is it possible to have Jupiter give you bad luck?IP: Logged |

No, Jupiter doesn't give anyone bad luck. First, it is important to understand that it is one of the three fire planets, specifically the expansion principle. It enlarges, dramatizes, reveals, opens up what is there, including one's willingness to speak out or express more outwardly. The best potential benefits to you with Jupiter were probably highlighted by what you described during the period it went through your 1st house area: getting more comfortable with yourself. Notice what you were able to do during that time. You could take that as a point for further growth -- do what it takes to get more relaxed, more comfortable with yourself. That's what Jupiter typically does. It shows us what we are like when at our best, when we are more optimistic. Then it is our job to find ways of continuing and perpetuating that rather than relying on the Jupiter wind at our backs to do it. ------------------ "Drift like a cloud and flow like water, seeing that all life is a magnificent illusion, a playing of energy, and there is absolutely nothing fundamentally to be afraid of." -- Alan Watts Soul Stars Astrology by The Declinations Guy Expert Rectification IP: Logged |

In my experience, there is both a good luck and a bad luck experience, depending on the sign and house Jupiter is in. I've noticed this in both myself and others. Jupiter is a magnifier. It's not at all the amazing polarized good luck many popular astrologers would have us believe. Rather, it simply expands factors! Just saying. IP: Logged |

For comparative perspective, Saturn is currently 11CAP29 very closely conjunct my natal Moon 11CAP43 (topocentric position). I am feeling better than I have felt in quite a while. I've reined in my emotional energies to align with better habits and outlook; corrected by daily routines to draw from my better spiritual energies with meditation; organized my home a bit better and my relationship with my wife is good. The worries I had leading up to this transit (about my mom because of mother=Moon) were wasted and irrelevant. I'm making use of the energies of Saturn by understanding the purpose inherent within it and going with it.

With Jupiter in my 6th house, I’ve had more health problems than usual. It’s in Sagittarius now finishing up. I ran into a new health issues I’ve never really had before. It’s kind of embarrassing to say what it is. I will not miss this transit. I loved Jupiter in my 4th house though IP: Logged |

Yeah, I had a similar experience. Contracted Hand, Foot & Mouth disease from my then-toddler which apparently is quite common, but which I discovered I'd never had as a child. Cue a year of freaky hand rashes which came and went at random before, after many months and blood tests, my Doctor was able confidently diagnose and put my mind at rest!IP: Logged |

I get the hand rashes too! It’s started a little over a year ago. (Yep Jupiter in my 6th house time)I notice that detergents trigger the rash. I try to stick to better soaps like Method, Mrs. Meijer, and TJ brands, or brands that would be sold at the health food store. I saw I doc about exactly a year ago. Gave me some sort of super hydrocortisone cream. Told me that if my skin doesn’t clear in two weeks see a dermatologist. I have yet to see one. I’m gettin serious though. It is the only thing not crossed off my to do list from February. Waiting to get my welcome package from health insurance. Funny thing is, I think I got it from overwashing my hands at last job. Hands foots and mouth spread like wild fire there. So that made me an extra germ phobe. One day, I was unable to wash between a glove change and that’s when the rash started. I also learned that nitrol gloves can sometimes contain nickel. Which I have bad reactions too. I also can’t use hand sanitizer anymore. IP: Logged |

I suppose the issue here is getting caught up in the 'good' and 'bad' polarity which is so culturally popular.Objectively speaking there is no 'good' or 'bad' such a perspective is very subjective and not at all helpful. I analysed a number of charts in the last 24 hours - famous people - researching a particular specific but also checking the dates of very big life events also. It was amazing to note how often a Jupiter transit was instrumentally conjunct an area of the chart when very *difficult* life changes occurred. At times on the contrary somebody struggling for years finally 'got it together' when Saturn squared a Mars-Uranus-Pluto stellium. Astrology is very deep and we simply can't garner our views from text books. The truth is - as Kannon states - Jupiter simply expands and emphasises. As it happens excess in some areas can be the worst possible thing. Jeff Buckley died with his boots on. Jeff Buckley died BECAUSE he had his boots on. Jupiter made him so optimistic he didn't consider caution. Everything is about balance. Jupiter on an austere Venus-Saturn conjunction can light it up, Jupiter on a Neptune Mercury Square could trigger an overdose. It's all in context and apologies to those learning astrology, as I have just made the subject that bit more complicated! ;-) Sorry. :-) ------------------ My latest article is about January 2019 and how this impact us, particularly with there being 2 eclipses this month. Have a read and hold tight, it could be a bumpy ride: http://waxlobster.blogspot.co.uk/ Also my new page is: http://facebook.com/waxyjo ♥ IP: Logged |
