Hi Everyone.

I don't know whether someone has asked this question before. But I wanted to find out what you think of planetary ruler relationships and aspects between them.

By that I mean we all have been taught that each sign has its planetary ruler(whether traditional or modern) and is thus influenced by the energy of that planet.

Aries is ruled by Mars. And is thus influenced by Mars, Taurus by Venus etc.

So my question is this; if two planets are in aspect in a chart. Would there also be an echoing planet ruler associated aspect/ interaction between the two?

A person for example who has Moon in Cancer square Mars in Aries would experience the classic tense square in that each sign is in the place of its domicile.

But say for instance the square occurs between Scorpio Moon and Aqua Mars? This is not so classic as each sign is not in its place of domicile

Would it be fair to say then that there is also an underlying relationship between Mars(traditional ruler of Scorpio) and Saturn(traditional ruler of Aqua)?

In that the latter aspect would have the individual behave more in a Mars/Saturn consistent way with the aspect? Built up aggression or anger that is expressed only after a long time?

So in effect the square of Mars/Saturn even if not in aspect in the linear sense in the chart, can be looked at also to explain the dynamic of the relationship?

Id imagine the houses would relate to each other in the way the planets are aspected if anything.

I see that as legitimate

I have Moon in 3rd conj Ic and Mars in 6th conj DC.

The square from Mars to the 3rd/Ic Moon does leave a 3rd /Ic Mars flavour. My father(4th) was very tense and we feared him.

So you don't think that Moon in Cancer square Mars in Libra would read like Moon (Cancer ruler)/Venus (Libra ruler)square too?
