Good morning everyone,

I've heard that Moon square Uranus is deemed to be the most emotionally unstable aspect one can have resultant of constant daily mood swings and changing feelings or something. I had NO idea how strong an impact the Moon Sign and it's aspects have when it comes to our feelings towards ANYone. For instance, I always thought the dept of feelings for a romantic partner would primarily be governed by how the Venus Sign is aspected and/or the planet/sign in our 5th House. Guess I was wrong!

I'd like to hear your perspective on the matter if you have it personally or are well-acquainted with someone who has it in their natal chart. Friend, relative, partner, boss, anyone, really. Thank you

How we feel for romantic partners are not venus-5th house matters. We can't single out one planet and house like that. We take in the whole chart as the whole chart holistically represents us.

Everything in the chart Interacts with each other! You can't isolate one aspect, planet etc

Moon is by some considered the soul, put it simply, our emotions, mind, how we take in, feel and process emotions etc
Of course the moon is there when we express feeling for others

As to moon-uranus, thats a big overgeneralization. One have to try to see beyond the overgeneralizations.

No Moon-uranus does not mean "constant daily mood swings and changing feelings".

Moon aspects usually can mean, "how we react to feelings". Like, how would a moon-uranus react to feel like he/she is being trapped? By getting irritated for ex.

But constant mood swings? That sounds like hormonal imbalance thing, PMS or PMDD, stress or mental issues ^^

I have Moon 11CAP43 square Uranus 5LIB32 (orb 6°11 separating) in my birth chart.

It is hard for me to give you a clear view into this since my chart has a Taurus/Fixed Earth signature, thus I'm pretty stable. But it is true that day-to-day moods can be shifty with this aspect. However, that is not really the problem or the worst potential of this aspect. I'd say it is the touchiness of my emotion-nerve connection. I like to think of myself as an affectionate person, but if I'm worried or stressed at all or have been overly engaged in mental efforts I tend to seem physically standoffish or pull away from my wife's affection, hugs, etc. I don't like that I do that. It's a nerve thing. If she didn't know me better she might take it as disaffection. It's not. I have to calm my nervous system and meditate and not overload my mind so my nerves are settled enough for me to be relaxed and not have touchy 'trigger' nerves.

If the aspect is applying and tighter (say within 4° orb), then what you've got is a greater issue with unreliability, unpredictability, and problems with emotionally disconnecting. Those of us who have this aspect have lifetimes of disruptive traumas or patterns of breaking away from those close to us in the familial/intimate circle. So it can be very helpful to be understanding of such people and to allow them the leeway to act independently in fits without negating their motives or other efforts to be close and trust.

Moon unaspected would be the most emotional. Theres nothing of outer influence so its pure water.

nah i have it and i'm pretty chill. my boyfriend has it and he's the most stable person ever. we are both really wacky though and i'm extremely impulsive but i can control it if i want, i just enjoy it. n we're both super detached but emotionally intense at the same time. like bad stuff can happen and we'll be like SH*T everything sucks!! but also go about our daily lives and function normally. i think emotional stability is actually about being detached so Uranus helps with that. we may feel everything and change moods constantly but we can step back from it all.

Hmm interesting! The fact that you're an Aries Moon like my basically-ballistic mother, but have a mostly calm automatic emotional response like my Aries Moon father fascinates me. Out of curiosity, what's the house position of yours and your man's Moon Signs? What's the sign on your 4th House cusp? Do you have a personal planet in it or a 2nd sign occupying it?

My dad has an aries moon conjunct his sun and he's really calm too. And silly.
My moon is in the 9th and so is his. (Well, it's almost exactly conjunct the 9th house cusp but 9th house makes more sense than 8th for him)
My IC is in ~7' Scorpio conjunct 9' Venus, and close to 14' NN. 28 sco. Pluto conjunct 0 sag Jupiter is in my 4th too. And it ends at ~13 sag.
My bf's IC is in Aries conjunct his NN and my moon.

Having an Aries Moon in the 7th House of it's opposing sign, Libra, how do the conflicting energies play out in you? Is it true that people with Moon in the 7th House cannot live without being a relationship? Or is the Arian energy more dominant in your case?

I experienced this instability more in the work environment with the transit of Uranus to my Moon i.e anything and everything that could go wrong DID.

Emotional stability? Not a chance.
Rapid emotional flux? Absolutely.
Is it ever over when its "over" ? Don't bet on it.

Can you settle down and stop getting everyone around you agitated? You dont mean to. But it happens anyways.

Am I glad I don't have it natally? Just thrilled.

So what it taught me during that tim of the transit is to hold off unpacking my clothes or settling into sleep easily. Coz in the morning I might just be asked to go to India at a moment's notice.

I marvel at those with this natal aspect...hats off to you girls. Bravo!!! I can't

Planet wise--it could be especially if it is exact.

What about it? Oh, do you mean one with this aspect is likely to behave and feel as though they have an Aquarius Moon rather than their actual Moon Sign?
