Is there any real meaning if they aspect each other in the natal chart? I have my vertex in Libra conjuncting my descendant and squaring each of the nodes. Can't find any info.

I believe it just means that fated encounters (vertex) will have influence of some kind with your life path and purpose (NN) or your prior experiences or past lives (SN).

I have an exact trine between vertex/NN and a sextile between SN/vertex. I find that I am always meeting people that push and pull my direction in life. (My vertex is right on my DC, however.)

Libra always means a relationship. Since its on your descendant it means a fated relationship will occur when its activated.
