I would think an addiction more a dis-ease and highlighting a "dis -connect" than a conscious personality expression of creative energy.

Forgive me. But i think of high sex drive as exactly that. The DESIRE to have sex as an expression of appreciation of another than gratification.

The former acknowledges the exchange and wants to participate in it. Whilst the latter is indifferent to exchange and would even use the other as a "living vibrator".

This can be compared to the way a food lover would express their appreciation for food and flavour by creating all sorts of dishes and mixing/ matching food groups with spices etc. Everything is prepared from scratch and cooking is an "art".

As in the former, a person with a high sex drive knows that the magic exists in the lovemaking,the intimacy,the climax,the "savoring" of each other etc.Making love on all level and having a high drive for the (S)ynergistic (E)nergy e(X)change.

This is different from an addiction. Here there is drive towards supressing underlying issues held within or struggling to find ways to express them. It is not loving, nor intimate nor satisfying. Only gratifying. Well...until the next "fix".

You could say that the above can be compared to someone who is obese and a fast food eater. Is it really the love of food that they are expressing if they continually buy it where its mass produced?

And are they really expressing an intimacy with food if it matters little where the food comes from. So long as its tasty and fills the cravings that they get at any given time?

Pisces is addiction(including sex) on one hand. But can also include sex as a loving act on the other.

But this example given is a Pisces who is dealing with a dis-ease or disorder when their expression of sex is to do it with someone who cannot respond. The same can be said about Harvey(rape/sexual harassment).

If someone is going around having sex with everyone and making babies everywhere. They are a sex addict imo.

If someone enjoys intimacy with one person over a long period of time and enjoys the emotional/physical exchange therein. And constantly wants to reach it. They have a high sex drive.

These are two differing things with differing outcomes.

So a high sex drive can only be expressed in a positive way?

Eg. If you love sex, but want to do it with only one person - you have a high six drive.

OTOH, if you're a porn star who actually love the variety in partners, that's not high sex drive, it's something else?

Weinstein, who admittedly used his position to have sex with as many women as possible - doesn't have a high sex drive?

Secular understanding marres the meaning of sex. And thus the subsequent "drive" to have sex. As it has negated the emotional and spiritual aspect of sex as unnecessary. So the pursuit is cumming or the orgasm. So this has become the "end goal". Not necessarily "connection" (which is the root of sex)

You can have sex with as many people as you want. But you will find it easier to connect with one person when it comes to all 3 levels.

It gets harder when bedroom mates are increased because you "split" the energies & cannot concentrate i.e there is too much to consume. Too many to pay attention to etc.

Even when you are watching porn, you can often sense the "chemistry" of the two people involved despite not being in the room with them.

You can tell in a threesome or fivesome if there are two people who really only want to be with each other. Or that there seems to be a particular preference of one person with a specific "other" etc. Body language is visible.

So a porn star may "enjoy" many partners. This is gratification or "acting". But its not connection. Not when he doesn't want to do a repeat performance again & again with the same person.

The point of porn is to get the "right" angle, climax at a specific time or follow a set formula as the camera rolls etc.

Some of those guys even use viagra to "help" their erection. This is prostituted affection. Not real.

Smilarly an addict will chase sexual intercourse as if its a "fix". It matters not with whom, where, how and why. So long as they can reach the high of climaxing.

This is still not connection because they will tell you that they often feel guilt or anger etc afterwards. Wanting the other person to leave or not talk about the incident after it has happened.

Weinstein does not have a high sex drive because in his case, he uses power to get sex. He is not interested in another person. He is only looking to gratify his needs. The other could might as well be a lifeless sex doll for all he cares.

A genuine high sex drive is the drive to connect. And since it is difficult to connect with more than one person,the average human can reach physical ,emotional and spititual connection with one other person.

Here her energy is not "split". She is totally present and totally aware.

Now secular convention has diluted this original idea "sex drive" through pornography and making it seem like having a high sex drive means that you are a dog on heat. You can have it anywhere with anyone and at anytime. Without end.

This is not having a high sex drive because you are not intent on driving to "commune" with anyone outside of yourself. As sex is about you as well as the other person. Its a partnership and collaboration.

In such a case, you are masturbating ,using the other as an instrument for a specific end i.e to reach orgasm or release tension etc.

When someone points out another as having a high sex drive because of the number of people they have slept with etc. I say "that's an addiction to the high of cumming" not a "drive" to have synergistic energy exchange.
