For some reason, I almost never have an “over the top” reaction to ANYthing. Whether it be a rejection, failure, dissapoinment, tragedy - I stay calm, ALL the time. It's like almost nothing negativity-associated gets me down ... even if I were to fail a Psychology test worth 1/4 of my grade. My reaction would be, “Oh well, 3 tests to go! If I study to ‘ace ‘em, everything will be fine”Work & fitness aside, I seem to have this laid-back “don’t care” mentality/reaction to things. Any other Lunar Sagittarians relate or is it just me? ------------------ Cancer Ascendant 2nd House Leo Sun 3rd House Leo Mercury 6th House Sagittarius Moon 1st House Cancer Venus 1st House Arian Cancer Mars IP: Logged |

I'm also usually calm when facing rejection, failure, disappointment, tragedy...but I wouldn't say nothing gets me down. Sag Moon people I know (incl me) are usually upbeat and optimistic, but when we get depressed, we get really depressed. IP: Logged |

Don't look to blindly on the sign itself. Firs we need to look which planets is aspecting the moon. Then which house it is in. Last, sign. (and the whole chart of course)I have a gemini moon but I don't act/feel like the cookbook astrology descriptions of a gemini moon is described to act and feel. My moon aspects around 5 different planets and my asc/Dsc. It is for ex opposite saturn and uranus.... that says it all:. Also its in 10th house, house ruled by capri/saturn. So what are the aspects to your moon? And house? IP: Logged |

It’s in the 6th House along with Pluto. My Sag Moon trines Mercury and squares Jupiter by an orb of 2’50. It also trines Saturn by 8’50. IP: Logged |

Leo Mercury in the 3rd House. Pisces Jupiter in the 9th & 10th House depending on the House System. So I’ve heard. But if that’s the case, howcome Mars in the 3rd House is equivalent to having Aries on the 3rd House cusp? IP: Logged |

Righto,98. Not just you. Sag Moon is Alfred E. Neuman at his best. "What? Me worry?"

I'm thinking your Moon square Jupiter could make you overcompensate on the positive feelings. So even when something bad happens, you tell yourself (subconsciously) I'm ok... I'm above this... etc. I've the trine. IP: Logged |

Its not just Moon I assure you. Its also Sun in Sagittarius ,Jupiter/Sun or Jupiter/Moon. Jupiter tends to endow one with the mentality that getting "stuck" in "regressive" emotions of the nature u described, is less than wise. And Jupiter prides itself in making the "highest choice". When someone rejects me or when in a situation that is tense, I become stoic(which can easily also be confused with being "calm")until the situation passes. Then my Cancer Moon does inventory. But even with that being the case, I can go to bed today listening to Abraham Hicks about "Feeling down"(a very Jupiter thing to do) then wake up tomorrow with renewed hope. Others misinterpret Jupiter's optimistic approach as fickle and pretentious. And ofcourse there are those that glaze over surfaces and not do the inner work it takes to mantain a positive momentum. But there are those that do i.e they "talk" themselves out of feeling bad. And have a glass is half full approach to life. As this inspires their confidence to keep going. The Moon in Aries/Sag/Leo natives(and those with synonymous aspects) are the original motivational /inspirational (Moon) speakers . Because they speak with such vigour witthin themselves and then with others. Aries speaks of survival. Leo speaks of thriving Sag is concerned with freedom from all mental shackles i.e depression, sadness, bitterness etc. Oprah Winfrey has Moon in Sag and she is world renowned for being "look at it from a more positive point of view" type person. And she gives motivational talks a lot. Jane Fonda(Sag Sun) is also the type to talk about "what I have learned in my life" a lot. Its Jupiter thing... IP: Logged |

I have met plenty of moon in sag folks who struggle with depression, the same goes for Moon square Jupiter folks.Nothing gets to you? That sounds like you are numb and very guarded, if nothing gets to you that also applies to positive emotions bc you cant selectively numb negative emotions only. Or you are enlightened, constantly aware of the impermenance of things and how in the bigger scope of things none of this matters, good or bad, that this is just all an experience and is not that serious, the question is do you roll with the punches and thrive and bloossom in some way regardless of the good and bad experiences you have had in the short time you are here? Yes that type of detachment that comes from being in that state of enlightment... I have those moments but I dont live it daily, is not an ongoing state of mind, I should practice that state of mind more, helps you not take life or yourself so seriously. IP: Logged |

That’s because you have a Pisces Moon squaring Neptune (the modern ruler of Pisces). Depending on the orb-width and house placement of your Moon, it could double the strength of your Moon Sign. IP: Logged |

Oh wow you might be onto something here. I have a little brother and a love interest who are sag moons. They’re both really calm and rarely moody for a long time. Maybe it’s because they have a balanced chart because my brother has a Capricorn stellium and my love interest is plutonic. They’re nice to be around with. Keeps me less pessimistic and helps me watch myself when I am being negative around them. They’re pretty realistic instead over-blindly optimistic. Sometimes I wish I had a Sag moon. I realize there’s really nothing to be negative about even if something negative is happening to me. My moon is currently transitting the 9th house and I have been feeling very calm when facing trouble. And that along with my Aries moon transit has been really giving me tough skin. IP: Logged |

Hmm, my guess is that her Sagittarius Moon must have a hard aspect with Mars, Pluto or Uranus. It could also be the house placement. IP: Logged |

Wow, I WISH my Sag moon partner were super calm! It's very interesting the variety of emotional expressions the Sag moons here are sharing... just goes to show how isolating a single position really does not seem to work. Aspects, rulerships, and life experience are so important. My partner has a Sag moon and his emotions can be extreme. Like someone above mentioned, he struggles with depression. He is prone to catastrophizing and pessimism. But he also grew up in difficult circumstances and has experienced a lot of traumas. It has good and bad aspects: Moon conjunction Neptune orb +2°55' Moon conjunction Ascendant orb +4°33' Moon trine Mars orb +1°55' Moon trine Chiron orb -0°07' Moon square Ceres orb -0°44' Moon sextile Uranus orb -5°04' Moon square Midheaven orb -6°50' Moon sextile Pallas orb +5°35' His Jupiter is in Scorpio in the 11th house, opposite Saturn: Jupiter opposite Saturn orb -2°37' Jupiter trine Ceres orb -2°37' Jupiter square Pallas orb +3°43' Sun square Jupiter orb +6°37' Jupiter sextile Midheaven orb -4°58 My guess would be that as far as astrological factors go, a Sag moon with Jupiter in hard aspect to Saturn would tend to depression? Thoughts? IP: Logged |

Only known 1 Sag moon (Pisces sun). We dated for a while but he was VERY vocal with what he wanted and he stressed me into making a decision (us becoming more serious). In the end, he made me feel claustrophobic so I broke it off. IP: Logged |

What was his Venus Sign & Venus-aspect? Did he have any planets in The 7th House? IP: Logged |
