Does anyone have any experience with a cazimi? My 3 year old has his sun at 24°54'39" and his Mercury at 24°53'56" in scorpio applying so they're actually less than a minute apart. I can't find much on Mercury exactly conjunct the sun. I've tried posting pictures of charts but for some reason I can't get it to work. The cazimi is in the 11th house.

He has memorized every vehicle known to man. Down to how to catagorize them according to the jobs they can do. Garbage and recycling trucks, concrete mixing trucks, front end loader, racing cars (and who's sponsoring them), those are his passion lol.

I don't believe it as im reading it but then I remember this is astrology.

But that's mercury for you. Sounds like pluto in the 3rd. he has 2 plutos lol.

Sounds like it may just boost what ever the planet, sign, and house signify. the opposite of combust. instead of the sun over powering the planet the planet over powers the sun.

His Pluto is in the 1st but not conjunct the ascendant. He has chiron in the 3rd house with his sn and he was born with micrognathism but what surprises me most is he was actually very delayed. He never babbled or made much of any sounds at all. He didn't roll over until he was almost 5 months, didn't sit up on his own until around 7 months, crawling, walking, everything was very delayed. You wouldn't be able to tell that now though, his memory is insane. He can be extremely manipulative too. From the little information out there on this aspect, they say it puts Mercury at its highest potential. I guess I'm more worried about how he uses it, he's mean, very mean. But only when he knows no one else is looking and this started before he turned 2.

I meant he's mean to other kids when no one is looking. He'll choke me if I'm making him do what he doesn't want to do. He's not autistic or have any other conditions other than the motor delays and small jawbone.

I have read different descriptions about it, some say it exists, some say it doesn't and Sun burns the planet. Mine is also conjunct by less than a degree but it's not a cazimi, Saturn also conjuncts it by couple of degrees so the manifestation would be different I figure.

My sisters son has the cazimi.
He is very late in most things. He's 5 years now. I have always had the feeling that he understand a lot more than he gives impression of.

I think hes just feels comfortable being perceived a lot younger than he is.

He had to switch daycare when he was about 4 years and came to a place where they didnt understand his speech. 5 days later he spoke so much better. I think its just a question of him having to put in more effort rather than some limitations to his intellect.

Manipulative? Yes probably. But i think you could say that about most young children

One of my close friends has the sun-mercury cazimi - sun at 6.24, mercury at 6.14, also in Scorpio.

Just for fun, he also has Saturn there at 7.08 😁

It's a fascinating combination. From what I know of his childhood, he was very delayed with his speech - and was tested for autism. Having a Sagittarius south node wouldn't have helped this communication issue either, so a bit of a perfect storm.

He's grown into someone who's exceptional in his field, in computer programming, somewhat ironically. He looks for new (coding) languages to learn almost for fun and loves finding new ways to solve problems. He'll claim he doesn't want to do overtime to get something done, but then obsessively applies himself to hit the deadline.

Sounds like your 3yo may have a very focused future ahead of him. Oh and just to confirm - he sounds pretty like all kids that age. Enjoy him and get ready to steer him towards his passions with praise for hard work - he'll thank you for it when he's grown ☺️

Thanks, his speech is very delayed but his mind is super sharp. I'm thinking his aggression and manipulation is him figuring out ways to get people to do what he wants without him having to say it out loud and getting frustrated. It's interesting to hear that other children with this aspect were also delayed, especially with speech. He started preschool this past year and he's made huge progress, I still don't trust him around small animals or children though.

i have it, Sag sun 20.50 and Mercury 20.14 in 5th house. mercury out of bounds too.

i learned to read at 4, yet couldn't understand basic electronics courses or music theory in college until i took them several times. i was always excellent at finding the answer or interpreting the larger meaning behind everything, but couldn't tell you how i got there.
