The only house declinations I look at are the Ascendant, IC, Descendant, and Midheaven. Unfortunately, I'm not sure house declinations mean anything, because in my experience, while I look at house declinations at times, they don't seem to be significant. Hopefully, a more experienced astrologer has a better answer.IP: Logged |

I may be the only person here who can answer your questions on declinations of house cusps, but I don't understand your question, specifically what you mean by stg. Try spelling all your words out fully. ------------------ "Drift like a cloud and flow like water, seeing that all life is a magnificent illusion, a playing of energy, and there is absolutely nothing fundamentally to be afraid of." -- Alan Watts Soul Stars Astrology by The Declinations Guy Expert Rectification IP: Logged |

Well...Kannon is Virgo Asc. So he wants to make ABSOLUTELY sure that he understands every word used in the sentence in order to minimize the possibility of misinterpreting what your question is actually asking He will come back and answer though But on my end, I have Saturn parallel to the 11th house cusp .And it seems to apply to me. In that Saturn in 11th seems to fit.with me. IP: Logged |

The declination of every house cusp is valid. It is part of the 4-dimensional reality of in mundi rotation and astrology. Houses are actually not flat slices on a flat pie, but like a slice of real pie have depth in them. However, the aspects to those cusps can only ever be as valid as the accuracy of the cusps themselves, which starts with the accuracy of the Asc itself. A birth time to the minute is not guarantee enough the accuracy is going to be there. As far as natal charts go: It is my experience that most planets will have about a 1° orb for these aspects (parallels to house cusps), luminaries possibly more, the three outermost planets less. What I see in many charts once I've got them exactly rectified is that there is some kind of pronounced relationship to the activities of the house in question. So for a person with a planet parallel the 11th cusp, teamwork and group efforts, or audiences will be an important part of their lives. Each cusp is like a 'mini Asc' of its own, but focused on a range of activities as we have come to associate with houses.
