Are the orbs increased for all planets that are in the aspect? Even with 2 planet conjunctions example mars at 11 degrees with Neptune and 5 degrees, would a 1 degree sextile transit or natal placement that is within orb of Neptune also aspect mars though it normally wouldn't? IP: Logged |

I think in the case of stelliums, yes. A stellium is 3 or more planets in a sign or house so they're all working together. When two planets are conjunct, they sort of make a new energy together, the closer they are the stronger that new energy influence. So any transit aspecting one of the planets in the conjunction/stellium will in turn be affecting the others. IP: Logged |

The Arkana Dictionary of Astrology defines it (under the originating European term Satellitium) as: quote:
... a group of three or more planets in conjunction (or, loosely speaking, grouped together in one sign, or one house, or even in an arc of less than 30 degrees).
The term does not have a specific singular application. So orbs only matter if you are applying the term to mean a series of three or more linked conjunctions. Personally, I prefer the term to be used in reference to a string of three or more planets conjunct. ------------------ "Drift like a cloud and flow like water, seeing that all life is a magnificent illusion, a playing of energy, and there is absolutely nothing fundamentally to be afraid of." -- Alan Watts Soul Stars Astrology by The Declinations Guy Expert Rectification IP: Logged | |
