Students and astrologers have different impressions and frameworks of the human 'appearance' of the various rising signs. Many people do not fit the stereotypes. Most don't. Thus any and all stereotypes are ultimately unreliable or useless. Both Sagittarius and Cancer rising people commonly show rounded, tapering faces.
I keep my notions of this loose. The facial outlines I refer to are not so much sign specific as they are quality-based (cardinal, fixed, mutable). So categorically they are broader, not over-specific, because physical qualities and appearance are based more in genetics than astrological generalities (signs). Planets in major aspect to the Asc can alter the pattern, no matter where those planets are in the chart. They don't have to be in the 1st house.
In my rectification work I use a two-sided approach for making determinations: (a) the person's own biographical and self-description information free of all astrological terms and assumptions; (b) how the person generally fits into rising signs, but more importantly how the internal planetary factors of the chart speak to its accuracy.
With your chart set with Asc in mid-Cancer Mars is in the 1st house and parallel the Asc. That is significant because Mars is indicated as a loka planet (from traditional Indian/Persian astrology) due to the position of your Sun in the second decan of Cancer (Scorpio=Mars) nirayana zodiac (sidereal). While this might be confusing I have found it to be clarifying to many rectification situations.
So Mars and Venus parallel Asc in mid-Cancer is plausible without knowing anything else about you or how the birth time discrepancy may have come about. I assume it is not merely AM vs PM since the time that allows for mid-Cancer rising when switched to PM produces Scorpio rising, not Sagittarius.
Personality is more important in determining rising sign
Cancer is more emotional, rententive, feels hurts a long time, prioritizes acceptance and support.
Sagittarius is more free-flowing, typically more mentally and socially oriented.
IF you are Sagittarius rising, keep in mind that the Moon would be in Capricorn. This produces another challenge for clarity.
So determine if you have Moon in Sagittarius or Capricorn. That will answer the question of rising sign indirectly -- at least partly through elimination of an Asc before/after about 1:18 PM when Moon [topocentric] moved into Capricorn on your birth day. So if you don't at all relate to Moon in Capricorn or to the aspects made when Moon is about 2-3° in that sign, then you are probably not a Sagittarius rising person.
