Is this a super-loyal and fixed placement by default, irrespective of the state of one's 5th House, Venus sign, house placement & aspects? Or would "serial monogamist" not be as applicable if the person had, let's say, a first decan Gemini Rising, a retrograde Venus in Aries and a Sagittarius Descendant? I used to think this. But know a woman with Scorpio Moon who cheats :/. Could be an exception. I have heard Scorpio moons are fiercely loyal to the ones they love. IP: Logged |

I would think that it depends on other factors too.The Scorpio Moon/Cap Sun I lived with had Pluto conjunct Moon. Not very trusting of others and always cheated on his partner. I think he never wanted to be the one "left" for someone else or compromised in any way. So he loved defensively(if there is such a thing). And thought people who believed in love were just "stupid". I think he then met a Pisces Moon person who kinda softened his heart and made him/"inspired" him to come to a new understanding of what love means. And it worked for a while. But then he kept on cheating on the Pisces. And I guess bad habits are hard to break? But the Pisces was devastated and left him when they found out. Thereby confirming the earlier fear of not being the one "left". IP: Logged |

I know Libra sun, Scorpio moon conjunct Pluto has admitted cheating. I was surprised how easy she said what she did, like, it was a normal thing. She said sorry numerous times but I didn't see she really was sorry.But, weird, she hates people cheat on her and will get a revenge by being a wolf in a sheep's clothing so she gets what she wants, also doesn't mind lying, and, no one notices. I think a Scorpio Moon will only be fiercely loyal to someone who they can expect the same from in return. It takes A LOT of pushing, testing and mind games to get this reassurance from their partner, which can be quite draining on them. If they pass the tests and still stick around despite being tested, this goes a long way to winning their heart. If not, they will absolutely play the "hurt them before they hurt me" game. It's not even to cheat to fill a void or find what's missing in their lives, it's to keep it in their back pocket JUST IN CASE their "instincts" about the other person are true, and they feel like they've kept the upper hand. You are right. I feel the same way about the Plutonian, but the moon is the deepest and can be the darkest place. What about the 8th house? is it possible that the 8th house people have the same tendency? especially the 8th house moon? IP: Logged |

I have Moon in Gemini in 8th house. I've actually caught myself doing the whole "testing" thing, because sometimes my wounds are so deep that being upfront would make them much deeper. In other words, it would have less meaning if I outright told the person what was going on instead of pushing them to figure it out themselves. I think many people with Moon in Scorpio and Moon in 8th house "test" far more than me, but I have a few wounds that are too deep to be healed without the initial testing period. It's honestly quite dumb and hypocritical since I've criticized my boyfriend for doing the same thing as me. My boyfriend has Sun and Mercury in 8th house.IP: Logged |

Scorpio moons are fiercely loyal IF they love you. Remember, just because someone is in a relationship with you doesn't automatically mean they love you. What makes them love you? Respecting them, showing your loyalty and most of all, making sure they respect you. If they don't respect you, then they can't love you. Any moon sign is certainly capable of cheating and Scorpio is no exception. IP: Logged |

Me too and I'm a Leo Sun conjunct Mercury in 8th. I think I have a tendency to mental unfaithfulness.
I tend to wander a lot with my thoughts, fantasizing about other people, enjoy talking with them... but very rarely (in my past relationships) this behaviour did effectively bring to something physical. In my current relationship hasn't happened since I didn't make it happen even when I wanted to. I also have: Psyche conj Orcus in Leo, both conj my Sun
&
Eros conj Valentine in Aquarius both squaring my Moon I sense these asteroid aspects could mean a lot. IP: Logged |
