Unless it's uranus. Then it'd be the opposite.

It really depends. I know someone with a stellium in the 7th but his North node is on the ascendant so he doesn't "live" to be in a relationship. He has venus, mercury, saturn in the 7th and Pluto exactly on his descendant. He does usually go for older women with their crap together though (saturn). I have uranus in the 7th with nn exactly on my ascendant and I couldn't imagine myself tied down in a relationship.

I wonder if id fit this. I dont feel like id die without someone else, but im never really happy solo. It takes a healthy long term committed relatipnship to make the sun come out again.

Im only saying this in case you wanted to see my chart and see if your theories fit

I know of one, she has 7th house stellium with sun and venus and mercury, libra.

She was like 25 when she enlisted on a serious dating site, because she just had do everything she could do to find a life long partner. I thought it was odd for a young person to go to a dating site. She is good looking, would not have a hard time finding guys. Also she is flirty, so she is in a commited relationship now, but also too charming and flirty with guys she clicks with, must be her libra energy and mars-venus square...

I have a guy friend with 7th house stellium. Same with him. Serious dating site at a young age and he is good looking, so I dunno whats wrong with some people ahaha (no offence, I was just shocked in regards of thise friends. But I do understand its hard to sociolize enough to find a partner now days!)

i have north node and moon conjunct my descendant with venus conjunct ascendant

i don't really know what being single as an adult is, but when i was for about a minute there i still had people around who i could mess around with

i don't know that i'd want an actual relationship aside from my fiancee because i find casual **** easier generally so i'd have to really love the person to want to deal with everything else

i have been more serious with another person and i started to really hate it after the novelty wore off

i have uranus and mercury trine my moon/north node/descendant and sextile my venus/ascendant/south node and chiron sextile my moon etc and trine venus etc sextile my mercury too (opposite uranus)

i have mars square my moon and venus which probably alters things a bit too

lot going on in the ascendant/descendant area of my chart

You would have to bring that number up lol. It's been everywhere for a while now. I don't think Uranus in the 7th is all about being attracted to eccentric types, even though I do lean towards people who march to the beat of a different drum. For me, it's been more about keeping my autonomy in a relationship. I've always had my own space, my own life outside of the relationship. Even when I had my 2 children, we still had separate homes and lifestyles.

I never got people who always had to be in some kind of relationship. It always came off super needy to me. Well, my 7th house is completely empty, so that explains that.

That depends on what your venus is doing. Traditionally, venus rules libra so look to see what house venus is in and it's aspects to determine what you'll look for in a relationship or what your needs would be.

"Relationships" to more than romantic. I would say someone who likes to have a companion in almost every aspect of life.

I noticed that Lib Sun likes to be with a partner. It can even get to "Can you walk with me to the bathroom" kind of situation.

I also have an ex with Mars,Pluto,Sat in Libra in house 1. I have never known him to be single for long.

I myself have 7th house cusp in Libra.Venus is in the 7th. I am very lax about this whole "relationship" thing

My Sister has Draco Venus in Aries(Her Venus in Aries conjunct NN) and she is always in some type of relationship. Volatile sure. But its a relationship situation nevertheless

I would reckon that the following placements has a person feel like they have to have relationships or dating.

Sun in Libra-Power of expression through relationships

Sun in 7th-Finds leadership skills developed through a relationship

Moon in Libra-Is nurtured by relationships.

Moon in 7th house-Tends to hve their more communal sense of belonging come through in relationships. Relationships bring out the inner "Mom".

North node in Libra-Relationships form part of ones spiritual purpose. Perfecting the art of "relating" or learning what that is all about.

North node in 7th house-There is a clearer sense of purpose and/or life direction when one is part of a team/relationship. Things somehow fall into place.

Mercury in Libra-Thoughts are in and surrounding relationships(if Moon conjunct Mercury in Libra, the thoughts feed into emotional well-being. So relationships are a MUST)

Mercury in the 7th house-One find more clarity in thought processes once relating ones thoughts others. Getting feedback and a sounding off board is important.

Venus in Aries-One seeks out partner actively. They put themselves out there and usually because of their audacity. They find someone.

Venus in the 1st house-Relationships help to define ones identity and self. The partner helps to bring clarity and awareness to who one is. Ones outlook of life is usually "no-one should walk through life all alone. We all need companionship." If that Venus is in Libra /Pis, that "companionship" part can turn to "a soul mate".

Venus conjunct Mars-Can get preoccupied with attracting people. Getting dressed or even looking good can be done to impress someone out there. These people like to seduce. But does that seduction cross over to a full blown relationship? Not always. But they love the chase.

Venus in the 3rd house cusp-These people grew up with people to talk with and probably treated neighbors as siblings and through which, they learned to relate. Here relationships are sought more for "buddy buddy" companionship than all out "passionate love".

Venus on the Ic/4th-living with someone or cohabitation is desired. Having a companion with whom to share the house with or take turns doing chores etc. More likely for companionship than for passionate sex(unless Venus in Scorpio or ruling the 8th house)

Venus in the 5th house cusp-Feel their most creativr and inspired to give and be "more" when inlove i.e play, dance more, take more chances in life etc. Love can feel so addictive and intoxicating. They want to give their all to it.

Venus conjunct Sun-These people can seek to be married or in a state of permanent partnerships. And this reason could be that the heart(Sun) is stronger or feels stronger when with another(Venus) or joined in some way.

They can get physically ill and heartsore when a relationship ends or there is disappointments related to it. They are very sensitized to the partner as what the partner does can affect them directly. So they should choose carefully-this especially when the signs involved are Libra,Leo,Cancer,Aries,Scorpio and Pisces.

Ofcourse when in "cooler" signs like Gemini,Libra etc. The stance is most likely "oh well. You win some. You lose some."

Venus in Leo-Extravagance and opulence in love. A very generous spirit and sense of giving when in love. As love brings out the romantic heroine/hero like no other placement.

Ruler of the 7th house is in the 1st/2nd house-self definition(1st) or self esteem(2nd) is built in relationships and can affect the above mentioned directly.

Ruler of 7th in 4th or 5th house- Relationships tend to bring a sense of stability and security to one(4th). Whilst with the other, relationships tend to bring out the inner child and inner enjoyment(5th).

You may notice that I didn't include Venus in 7th, Venus in Libra, ruler of 1st in 7th or ruler of 7th in 7th. Nor Venus in Pisces or the 12th house ruler in the 7th house etc. As these are strongly romantic placements too.

And that is because the above placements(though very romantic) are very passive. They expect the other to "come" to them and don't actively go out and "seek" relationships.

Sometimes there could be downright apathy when it comes to relationships and a very lukewarm spirirt to the idea of love i.e they fall in love...great. They don't fall in love...great etc.

The planetz in the 7th tend to "passify" one. But there are exceptions if Sun/Mars is there. This especially when Aries/Leo is the energy. Then there will be a more concerted effort on the part of the native.

The Sun/Mars ruling the 7th could also have a similar efrect. The native really does try to put themselves out there. But pray the Mars is not Libra/Taurus/Canceror Pisces. These guys are easily discouraged and give up way too soon.

The biggest irony with Venus in Libra/7th is that with all their attractiveness, one would think that they never end up uncoupled.

In reality however ,their more laxity stance can be discouraging to others who want a mate to have more "vigour". Especially when in the initial stages of coupling.

Of course as indicated,Leo/Aries Venus may change all of that when placed in the 7th house.

I've a 7H Moon which conjuncts Neptune, square Mars, trine Jupiter. Neptune & NN are both on the Descendant. Venus in 1H opposing Moon/Neptune, square Mars. Venus rules my 5H & 12H where my Sun/Mercury/Juno/SN reside.

I seek partnerships but I'm not a chaser. I know doing relationships is not a bed of roses yet I am idealistic so I get greatly disappointed when reality falls short. Thus I went solo for many years during which I found myself (who I am...what I need) and felt happier, but also lonely. So I guess I still need a companion after all.

It has been a long, arduous journey for me.

My venus in gemini conjucts 7 th house cusp.7th house ruler is at the end of 5th house ,and cusp of 5th is taurus, with sun mercury and south node in it.I like relationships very much but i can be without one for long periods and feeling ok with it.So i guess it has to do with venus sign, mine in gemini, and aspects,my venus trine uranus.

It just seems unavoidable right? The NN/Moon in the same house as misty Neptune would have you dream big and then be let down. What sign is Neptune in?

I wonder if Venus being right on the edge of the 5th/6th house cusp means that they start to feel like work or less fun?

The 6th/8th are two houses of upheavals. Whilst the 8th house can be related to loss. The 6th house is related to challenges or obstacles.

So Venus close to the 6th and sharing the same sign as Gemini suggests that arguments start to factor in and misundertandings happen.

Wow. I can see how deep the disappointment can go. Jupiter expands things.

Is Neptune the ruler of the 10th? As ruler of 10th in 7th takes love relationships very seriously. So with Neptune involved there is great disappointment likely (more especially when Sag/Pisces/Lib is involved).

I know someone with an Aries Moon in the 7th House who’s been content being single for 3 years. I guess that means Martian energy is stronger than Venusian? I wonder if it would play out the same way in someone who has their Aries Sun in the 1st House and Libra Moon in the 7th.
