So I wanted to calculate my Part of Desire here: http://libracentre.com/arabic_parts_chart.php

but it's asking apart from the 5th cusp, the ruler of the 5th..

How do I determine the ruler of the 5th and it's degrees and minutes?

Each sign has a planetary ruler

Aries: mars
Taurus:venus
Gemini: mercury
Cancer:moon
Leo: sun
Virgo: mercury
Libra: venus
Scorpio: pluto
Sagittarius: jupiter
Capricorn: saturn
Aquarius: uranus
Pisces: Neptune
So find which sign is at the beginning of your 5th house, then find its ruler in your chart at look up the degree. For example, virgo is my 5th house ruler, mercury is at 28 degrees aries so I'd put that in as my 5th house ruler.

What "sign" do you have on your 5th House Cusp?

NEXT, use Dons2angelss table and find the "planet ruler" that is associated with that "sign".

THEN, look for where that "planet" is, somewhere in your chart.

example..
Don has "Virgo" on his 5th House Cusp.
Table says, "Mercury" is the planet that rules sign of Virgo.
He looked for planet Mercury in his chart.
He found his Mercury over in Aries.
Answer = "Mercury Aries 28+ "

example..
I have sign of "Taurus" on my 5th House cusp.
.. I also have Taurus as my 6th House Cusp (interceptions).

Table says, Taurus is ruled by "Venus".
Aha!! I have Venus Taurus IN that 5th House.
Answer = "Venus Taurus 12.37'"

Make sure you use the "Placidus" House system to figure out your chart for the Fortunes.
