Oops, I meant to say "identify with" their "Big 3". Anyway, everyone knows that the 1st House is called the House of Self, signifying what someone IS. Therefore, doesn’t it make sense that our personality would primarily be influenced by our 1st House & sometimes the sign of its ruling planet? I know they say your Rising Sign isn’t who you really are, but since the key phrase associated with the First House where our Ascendant begins is “I AM”, it makes sense that the order and strength by which we identify with our Personality Trio would begin first & foremost with our Ascendant. Isn’t that why the ascending degree is the most important factor in the natal chart, because it’s where the entire outline and position of our house placements begin? For example, the 4th House isn’t the “Mother”, it’s the mother OF The Ascendant. Same way the 6th House isn't responsible for “Diseases’ but rather the diseases OF your Ascendant. In my case, I’m a Cancer Rising, with its ruler, my Sagittarius Moon, placed in the 6th House. The keywords and anatomical correspondences of Virgo & The 6th House are linked to that of Cancer: The Stomach, Appetite, Food Intake, Digestive Tract, Intestines, Belly/Navel, Appendix, The 6-Pack Muscles, etc. I’m born at 24 weeks, so I had 3 intestinal surgeries in the 2-week period after I was born because my intestines weren’t functioning properly. To this day, over a decade later, not only do I still have digestive system issues, but I have this obsession with everything related to nutrition and my waistline. My diagonal belly-button forms a "link" to my 14cm scar which makes my belly look anaesthetically pleasing because the scar is deeply indented. I am thus hell-bent on being 110lbs and 10% body fat because the scar won't look "normal" until I reach a certain level of leanness. I've also been following the OMAD (One Meal A Day) intermittent fasting eating schedule combined with Keto and eat at the exact same time every single day. Ascendant Ruler (and Pluto) in the 6th House of Virgo: Work, Physical/Mental/Emotional Health, Hygiene, Diet, Nutrition, Eating Habits, Fitness, Physique, Daily Routine, Schedule, Procedure, Orderliness, Precision, etc. Sorry for the rant, Mercury in the 3rd House problems. LOL. ------------------ Cancer Ascendant 2nd House Leo Sun 3rd House Leo Mercury 6th House Sagittarius Moon 1st House Cancer Venus 1st House Martian Cancer Mars IP: Logged |

I do. Aries Ascendant, Scorpio Sun, Gemini Moon.Perhaps only because most 'trendy' astrology paints the latter two in unhealthy lights, and I mean they are harder energies to make healthy because of their nature, but certainly not impossible. I relate to them both, but I would say my Aries rising always feels the most upfront. Possible because I have a chart that is 'signs in their houses' and planets as well, since Moon in Third/Sun in 8th, etc. IP: Logged |

Sun in Sag...yes Moon in Cancer ...yes Asc in Aries I had the most trouble with.I have known Moon and Sun in Aries and what permeates a lot is their childlike nature which(at worst) can show immaturity. But on the flipside,I do tend to shout at the Tv screen, sit on the edge of the seat at home, respond with enthusiasm with others, play "coach" to others and admire entrepreneurship in others(so much). I misunderstood Asc in Aries to mean I "should" like Aries Moon/Sun.When in actual fact, experience with the latter often leaves me feeling irritated. I also have Juno in Aries conj Asc.I don't know if that adds a more sensitive approach to Aries? IP: Logged |

Your Aries Ascendant is ruled by your Mars Sign, so see if you relate to the corresponding Ascendant for it. IP: Logged |

Not me. I've always related the most to my Cancer Sun and Pisces Moon over Aries Ascendant. I also have Mars in the 1st house, but it's in Taurus, so it's more of a chill Mars. Additionally, most of my chart is filled with water signs and water houses and I am void of any fire besides my Ascendant and 1st house Mars. Plus, my Ascendant only has square aspects, both to my Sun and Venus. I feel like I'm trying to become more like my Ascendant as I age. I'm definitely a more subdued Aries Ascendant than the typical, but there are certain traits that stick out where you'd be able to tell, like how I'm very passionate and driven about what I most want in life and also share certain physical characteristics like having a swift walk with brisk movements and a lean, athletic body type with more angular facial features. Yes I DEFINITELY DO. I have the sun in taurus which is what makes me lazy (as does my taurus sun trine my virgo jupiter), but unlike most Taureans I'm not at all a foodie and I'm quite skinny and only eat once a day. My moon is in Capricorn and my Ascendant is Cancer, so my ascendant ruler the moon is in the 7th house (technically 3 degrees before the 7th house but close enough in my opinion). I'm shy and quite serious and hate small talk like Capricorn moons are. Again, my shyness is also attributed to my Cancerian ascendant. I'm extremely loving and motherly in relationships which totally explains my Cancer ascendant and ascendant ruler moon in the 7th house of relationships.IP: Logged |

Mars(Lib) & I agree with your more "open" perspective. Libr Mars IS me to the "t". And when I read Asc in Libra the first time, I kept on asking Mom if she meant "am" or "pm" for my time of birth as I related to it quite a bit. It could also because of the fact that the ruler conjuncts the Dsc with Pluto, Saturn and Venus also there? But I swear that in an alternative world, Asc in Lib is my Asc. IP: Logged |

You just affirmed something for me. The planet sign makes a major impact(which I have always said). So even when in the 7th house of Lib, my Venus in Sco still retains its "sting"
