Obsessed as in, going without sex for a month would be equivalent to living in hell? Lol.

I have this placement. Since Pluto is about extremes, I read it can go either way. Some people become sex obsessed while others can go years without it. I am the latter. My aspects are Pluto in Scorpio square Saturn in Aquarius, trine Mercury in Cancer and Moon in Pisces, sextile Uranus and Neptune in Capricorn, and sesquiquadrate Venus in Cancer. The aspects may take part in this too.

I've got sun, pluto, venus, mercury and lilith all in the 8th/scorpio, all conjunct.

It's not so much the 'sex' itself that is hard to go without, but the intimacy/closeness. I find it hard when there is a distinct lack of intimacy between myself and people I know (or at least having one or two I can comfortably express it with).

For instance, it can be platonic, as in very comfortably hugging, touching, being physically intimate with, without being sexual. Sex is the easiest way to be touchy-feely and intimate with someone, so it can be misconstrued as this.

It's also a very fine line when physical (PLATONIC) touching can be misconstrued as 'oh, this person is coming onto me' when in actuality I am just being affectionate. I tend to be hyper aware of physical contact between myself and another person as it is like a massive beacon. I am more conscious of it than others most often (unless they are also 8th house heavy). For me, speaking in Pluto sense, it is very transformative for me (and often the other person) when physical intimacy is achieved in any scale.

Pluto in Scorpio tends to suggest an individual who comes to sexuality awareness quite early on. "Where do babies come from?" for example wouldn't be a question they ask parents. Coz they already know.

I have Pluto in Scorpio in 7th and Scorpio on the cusp of the 8th and what I have noted is that my initial thoughts about sex and sexuality evolved from discomfort to unbelievable acceptance of people's proclivities.

8th house also rules approach to sex. So Pluto in 8th wants to have a no holds barred approach to sex. And this suggests someone whose experience of sexual unification can be idolized or idealized to a point of obsessive pursuit i.e the search for the ultimate orgasm. Or the ultimate sexually defining experience.

Thank you Does your 5th House Sign, inhabiting planet(s) (if any) and its ruler accurately reflect your sexual identity?
