Gem Venus can be harder to pin down, while Sag Venus (being a fire sign) is more apparent with what they want. Gem Venus appears flighty but if you can catch them, they're yours and they can be as loyal as any sign.

Sag energy ime tends to align to their ideals religiously. The error here is never questioning, critiquing or scrutinizing those ideals on the backdrop of being human.

On their quest to embody ideals,they lack empathy for the human condition and judge human errs too readily- as if distanced or uninvolved with being human themselves. Argh!!

This is what diverts them from Pisces. And therefore not vibrating with Neptune-which is more allowing, less judgemental & more forgiving.

Some Sag Venus people I know are cynical to the point of being sarcastic. To them everyone is "damaged" and the world is going to hell.

Others are superficial,fickle and glib. They enjoy fun and even salacious gossip and rumours. Often coming across as airheads who are are emotionally retarded and sometimes enthusiastically nonchalant.

These people are typically the ones that seem cavalier, unaffected, "party animals", unemotional, insensitive or downright "douchey" to a point of being insulting(the infamous Sag stereotype comes from them)

Then there is the remaining Sag Venus who is glued to their ideals to the point of being outspoken & passionate in defending them.

These Sag Venus types are the types that make disagreements with them degenerate to outright war.

There is likely to be a tendency for these types to be difficult to approach for personal troubles or issues. As they have an "armchair philosopher" approach to things and can be so far removed from reality.

At their best, they are scrupulous and irreproachable. At worst, self righteous and hypocritical.

Gem Venus ime are the intellectual types. They like the trivial more than the profound. Life is serious enough as is and so Gem Venus is not about to add more sobriety to it by being overly sombre.

Zsa Zsa Gabor with her Mc in Gemini put it best when she said "make the serious silly and the silly serious" as that is Gemini's modus operandi. With Venus in Gemini being the master of that.

Gemini Venus is not interested in philosophy. But perspective.And the more varied the perspectives, the better. As such, Gemini Venus have gained the reputation of being changeable, "disloyal", superfluous and suffering from undiagnosed ADD.

But to me, the Gemini Venus is more in touch and accepting of the human condition i.e its contradictory and duplicitous nature etc.

They may not necessarily have the "bleeding heart" empathy of Pisces, but they understand human variations from a fundamental intellectual point of view.

Say for instance you have a discussion on a controversial subject like abortion. Gemini Venus (barring other aspects) will steer clear of religious dogma. Even bringing into intellectual question what " abortion" really is ?

Sag Venus will alsmost always look at things from a moral point of view(theirs) and so, they will judge & evaluate the abortion issue from that point. Often stressing and emphasizing their views with passion.

To recognize a Sag Venus from a Gemini Venus: when Sag Venus finds life contradicts their ideals, they cling to ideals.

In comparison, Gem Venus usually sees things in a multi-dimensional way and we're more in tune with human nature (and the tendency to err). And you're right, we don't come from a compassionate view point. We come from an intellectual view point. We simply accept that it is human nature to err, to falter, to lose faith etc. But to a Sag, they may think it's not right... it's punishable.
