Does anyone else with a 3rd House Mercury relate to my Top 6 observances:1) Can’t sleep more than 6 hours and can’t function on less than 3 hours of sleep. 2) Mind starts running a 100 km/minute less than 5 minutes after waking up. 3) The inability to stop reading, researching, writing, typing, and copying/pasting/storing information for later usage. 4) Pristine elephant memory, I never forget details; but then again, writing EVERYthing down somewhere in my iPhone or in my by-hour daily planner may play a part in that. 5) Editing an email or an essay a 100 times before sending/submitting because it must be pristine and you can’t fathom composing anything sub-par. 6) I can never fall asleep before 11pm and I’m ALWAYS awake by 7am at the latest; irrespective of when I decide it’s time to stop reading and go to sleep. I have Mercury-Neptune conjunct exact in Aquarius in my 3rd house. 1. I need at least 9-10 hours to be able to mentally function at full capacity. 2. No. I feel emotionally clear when I wake up but my mind doesn't turn into a frenzy within minutes of waking up. 3. I will say I am constantly thinking about something, though it's not always related to information. It also is about emotional **** that bothers me; I want to know every in and out of it. 4. I don't constantly write things down because I tend to remember small details most people sometimes miss. Then again I have Moon-Pluto with Moon in 8th so a lot of it is also emotionally scarring details. 5. I will look it over a few times before sending it but I'm not that obsessed with proofing my emails and making them that perfect. 6. I do have trouble going to bed early but that's more of an issue with self-control more than anything. If I really wanted to I could dedicate myself to going to bed at a said time and getting up at a said time easily (though the latter is much more difficult lol). IP: Logged |

1) For me, it depends. If I am very stressful/depressed/sad, I want to sleep all day. I remember, when I was in the college, I was depressed for 3 days (thank God the university had closed because of the holiday so I didn't have classes). The disgusting thing was, I didn't shower for 3 days lol. I locked myself in the room and only went out looking for foods to eat then went to sleep all day until I was hungry. And guess what? My third eye was opened in the 3rd day. In normal/happy mood, I need like 7 to 8 hours sleep, unless there's a circumstances that needs me to wake up early but then I will find a way to take a rest to complete the 7 or 8 hours a day. (I always remember what time I go to sleep and what time I wake up, so I can count the hours) If I have important thing to do, like finishing a project, or deadlines, or studying, or something is getting my interest (like reading, etc), I can't sleep at all, because my mind keeps running and running and I can be so exciting to dig more until I find the answer/the end. 2) Hmmm, the thing is, the moment I wake up I always have something to think but mostly about how to organized the day. So, it's like, I have planned the day in a 100 km/minute. From solving the possibly problem I will have, to what kind of meal I will have. I rarely think about other people, is it bad? 3) Yes. I can't stop. It's like my food everyday day. 4) It depends on what kind of memory it is. If it is not important, it needs time to recall it. If it is important, even the small details I don't forget. I tend to forget people who I rarely interact with, or don't make a great impact/good first impression. 5) Absolute true for me. I thought it comes from my Mercury/Saturn sextile. 6) It depends (back to number 1). IP: Logged |

without having that i can relate to quite a bitbarely sleep (usually 4-5 hours a night if that), insomnia since i was a kid though i've had plenty of points where i've gone days without being able to sleep as soon as i'm awake i have a million things on my mind, always do, and i need near constant stimulation (talking, writing. reading, playing guitar, trying to learn something etc and so on) in spite of all the drugs i've used i have a pretty good memory, which is unfortunate sometimes there's definitely things i wish i could say i've forgotten lol i edit things after i've already written or sent them though, i'd rather just word vomit all over the place then look at it after or just hope it makes sense i usually go to sleep some time after 1 am and i'm usually up around 5:30- 6 am IP: Logged | |
