Topic: Why do people automatically assume you are attracted to your DSC sign?

People always tell me I would be good with an Aquarius. Because that’s the sign of my DSC and my Moon sign. But why is this always an assumption? I like the sign Aquarius but I don’t automatically think that means I’d be good with one.IP: Logged |

I've got a really good friend who's got a stellium pounding my dsc, and I just see him as a good friend.
Attraction doesn't always have to mean romantic IMO.
I like to think of it as the "commitment" house. Even commitment regarding friendship counts. You don't have to "marry" them and bone them always. IP: Logged |

To a certain extent, I hope not. My DSC is Aquarius but I've got no personal planets there or in my 6th house or in Air signs or in fixed signs, period. The best on offer is Pluto in Libra. There's Mars in Sagi too, but I've heard sextiles tend to be "nice" rather than romantic/passionate per se. So, chances are, anyone with any planets in my 6th house is either going to, at best not have them activated/aspected and, at worst, have them antagonised. Maybe this is why my love life's so frustrating sometimes.  IP: Logged |

Yeah I'm not too much into Capricorn energy myself in a romantic sense. It's quite widespread in my circle of friends though.

But on a srs note. I NEVER liked Aquarius AT ALL, and thought of them as one of my LEAST favorite signs in the zodiac some years ago.
Now I'm just like "DAYAM U AQUA!! YOU GOT UNDER MY SKIN!!!!" We sometimes dislike that which has the potential to.... undo us.

When I first learned about astrology, I was absolutely sure that I would avoid getting involved with Geminis in the relationship.But two people who I feel mostly connected to (surprisingly) are my Gemini moon/Venus ex and my Gemini sun husband. My DSC is in Gemini. I never chase Geminis, I attract them like.. I still don't know why they get attracted to me. ? With Geminis, my DSC, I have learned a lot about the differences. I really feel very opposite to them but somehow they COMPLETE me in a strange way although at the same time I hate them because those opposition feeling is still there. IP: Logged |

Yeah I get that but does that mean you wouldn’t feel the same about someone who has Gemini qualities? Does it

in general i like sag energy. i've never met a dull one. my dad is a sag. never been romantically involved with a sag sun though. i do like the adventurous spirit that that the sign holds. my husband does have a sag moon, which my gemini planets adore, but oddly enough, my cap moon abhores his sag moon ways, lol.IP: Logged |

For me, I think it has to be Gemini influence people. I had a lot of male friends (until I've met my husband who is a little bit jealous, possessive, and controlling), so I did some small research. I found that the men who I felt most comfortable to be with and felt like they complete the missing puzzle (I mean, they show me the attitude/behavior that I totally lack, like, I would never be like that, end up the greatest lessons I get is from my DSC sign) are having Gemini, either in the sun or moon or Mercury or Venus. Although we can be so different with almost everything, I always can make Gemini influence people wants to marry me. And it feels right with DSC. IP: Logged |

Yeah I get what you mean I just figured that someone who has a Capricorn DSC. Might be attracted to earth signs in general. I guess only a person who has DSC in Taurus would only be attracted to me. And not people with a Virgo or Cap DSC.

My descendant is Libra,I have never been attracted to anything in Libra.I’m more attracted to my midheaven sign Capricorn.Idk if it’s because it’s my MC or because I have Neptune there also.I dated a few Leo Suns/Moons in my 20’s,Leo is my 5th house. You might not necessarily find yourself interested or feel chemistry with an Aquarius Sun, Moon or AC. Looking closer what if the Aquarius in someone interested you but it was less obvious?
Neptune, a Node maybe? There's an under the radar area that might intrigue you.As far as that angle not seeming effective for you, how about the IC? Or NN? I had many good love connections that were linking my Planet/or angle with their IC.

Not everyone has the ASC (and thus the DESC) that they think they do. But the DESC/7th House can be about general attraction, and not just romantic. The 7th House is the house of closer and/or more affecting relationships (including enemies) i.e. it can involve particularly close friends or family members. *I had an "open enemy" whose Aquarius North Node was in my 7th and conjunct my Venus. I felt totally invaded by him and his energy. To say that we did not get along is an understatement. There have been very few people throughout my life that I have come to have very intensely negative feelings towards, and he was one. But it seemed fated/destined that we were supposed to interact in this life. With that said, since I also have Venus (ruler of my Moon and MC) in Aquarius, generally speaking, I am quite drawn to and get along rather well with people with strong Aquarius energies, especially Sun, ASC, Moon, and/or Mars. Heck, my ex best friend of 10 years or so, and my partner of 20, share the same b-day as Aquarius Suns. (My partner is a bit of a "super Aquarius" in that she has Sun, Venus, and South Node in Aquarius with her ASC cusping it a bit) Most of my romantic relationships have involved people with strong to moderate Aquarius in some way. But again, Venus helps with that. Also, Libra Moon helps too since Aquarius has a 5th House kind of attraction/connection to Libra. Plus there is some connection to my Moon besides its ruler/depositor being in Aquarius. My Moon is widely conjunct Saturn which is moderately closely sextile Angular Uranus. Hence, the combination of Saturn and Uranus being connected to the Moon, can indicate an attraction and/or destiny to being involved with people with strong Aquarius (especially females). This is one of those repeating pattern things, since the ruler of the Moon Sign, Venus, is in Aquarius and also square Uranus. Those kind of repeating patterns tend to be stronger/more highlighted than other parts of the chart. IP: Logged |
