The 9th H isn't any better imo. It makes those planets even more idealistic and vague.

Moon in Cancer is strong and receives mostly good aspects which is positive for you emotionally wise although that Pluto square makes feelings intense if not painful.

I had to learn to look after myself since I was little while living in a physically and emotionally abusive environment. I ve been through a dark night of the soul that lasted well over a decade (starting at 21) that was sheer hell, during that time I had a twin flame encounter that really tested my resilience. They all were incredibly extreme experiences and I wonder how I survived all that sometimes so yeah if we take astrology as a reference my aspects would explain my resilience and strength. sun trine moon, sun trine ascendant etc is quite important.

Hmmm if it has to do with family members it's probably due to your Pluto and Jupiter in 4th H. I've seen those too in people who were abused by parents physically and emotionally.

If it's not a family thing then it's Neptunian nature. Do you believe that you somehow chose to suffer when you were 21?
Like for example at some point you understood that twin flame wasn't good for you but you kept going, making excuses etc?

Your Moon squaring Pluto even though it's a harsh aspect makes the Moon powerful. Actually your Moon is strong by sign and aspects.

I don't believe we can assume that people who were physically and emotionally abused experienced that because of their "Neptunian nature". Several friends of mine were raped and none of them has Neptune strong by the way, neither Pluto. My abuse was family related, yes.

And no, I definitely didn't choose to suffer when I was 21 (that's when my dark night started, I met my twin flame at 25). With my twin flame, I was actually the one who knew straight away that a relationship (in an earthy sense) was out of the question so I didn't attempt to form a rl with him, he was more eager to do that though. What did happen, and what was totally uncontrollable was a constant mirroring and energetic connection between him and me as well as my kundalini awakening and all of it was painful af because it made the process that I was already in (the dark night) even more extreme. Also, with a connection like that the emotions are totally heightened, taken to the extreme, the highs are heaven and the lows are the depths of hell. Most people who had this encounter will tell you that. It brought my old stuff, old buried trauma forward to be healed in an accelerated manner (due to that energetic connection to him) and that added to the pain.
And do you know what a dark night of a soul is? I would liken it to burning off your old self while being reborn to your new self. Like a phoenix out of the ashes kind of thing. If we wanna look at it astrologically then it's definitely Pluto related.
