I'm a natal 3rd house Taurus Chiron and I'd like to speak about my personal experience.

During all my life I have been verbally abused my sisters, specially by one of them. I think she's not mentally sane at all and she's very very jealous of me.
My natal Taurus Chiron is opposed my natal Scorpio Moon and Jupiter, so that could explain why my mother did not take action to defend me from my sisters and how she prefered to be on their side. So I could add to this nasty situation a mother who is motivated by personal interests and has decided to ignore intentionally my situation (she defends them and has the closest relationshipt with the insane "stepsister").

To add more to this combo, I've never been abled to speak about my situation in front other people of my surroundings because my sister and mom have put a lot of efforts in give publicly an image of good people, caregivers for neighbours and other people, so if I speak about what I have lived none believes me, so all the suffering goes in silence.
