My daughter’s Moon is in 28 degrees Pisces. Her birth time is correct. I heard the Last degrees of a sign hold some special meaning. Is that true? And what would it mean? Is she more Aries? Or are her Pisces qualities amplified? IP: Logged |

I think that you could look into dwadshamas for the answer. The Moon here is on the Aqua dwad.So perhaps you should read the sub-influence of Aqua as part of the Moon in Pisces expression? IP: Logged |

Regarding 29*, I have heard both sides: it is like the next sign, or like the "fullest" version of the sign. Personally, I'm not sure of any significance at all. I have both Mars and Venus at 29/28, yet I feel very much not the next sign - despite having stelliums in the next - but also do not feel, even more, that I am the prototypical version of that Planet-in-Sign. My moon is at 29° libra and mercury at 28 aries. The Aries I can definitely notice it's in the later degree but my moon.... That's a lot harder. I can see where I am very for emotional justice and have a much easier time finding than most, but it's also exactly conjunct Pluto so that plays into it as well. Look at all of the aspects and what house it's in to try to bring a more complete picture together of how this moon functions. In the later degrees you'll most likely find that the planet is working on the higher levels of the sign instead of the lower descriptions. IP: Logged |

Bumping this up, for more input on this oneAnyone who experienced later degrees in signs? Are you ‘complete’ in your expression or do you feel like the next sign? IP: Logged |

ana_bee I have moon at 27,23 of Pisces. It is in within the Capricorn duad of Pisces. I clearly feel the saturnian effect on my moon. I will say I am not as emotional as other pisces moon people I have met, not as flaky, and a lot more reserved. But the intuition and sensitivity is there like other pisces moons. My man has Venus at 29 and something in Cancer, and I clearly see Cancer when he is expressing his venus, even with his Mars in Leo. IP: Logged |

quote: "In astrology, the anaretic degree is the final degree of any sign, which is 29 degrees 0 minutes to 29 degrees 59 minutes. Some modern theorists include the last two degrees. This degree or range is considered to be critical, so any planets, angles or celestial bodies placed within that range are likely to display the most extreme attributes of the sign or planet. ...... These planets will always have a special emphasis, and it will not always be negative. Instead it may be an 'edgy' feeling, or a sense of transition; the word anaretic is associated with the idea of death. Rather than being negative, it’s a place in the chart that the querent keeps coming back to, whether seeking resolution or working out a persistent issue that calls for attention. In this sense, anaretic planets have similar properties to Chiron, which has been described by the late Al Morrison as the 'inconvenient benefic'." ... http://sasstrology.com/anaretic-degree
quote: "The anaretic degree is 29 in the natal chart, can show an area where we struggle, either playing up the energy too much or not enough.(In transits) anaretic Pisces, the third water sign, can lack focus and be too fluid and flowy emotionally. Easily scattered, overly vulnerable, lacking interest in the real world, being lost in other worlds and realms, or shunning the mystical and spiritual entirely. We need to find the balance between the physical world and the beyond, and ground ourselves emotionally and spiritually, and not be afraid of our intuition." ... http://www.thedarkpixieastrology.com/blog/zodiac-signs-at-the-anaretic-degree
At astrologyweekly.com (some 10 years ago) ...the anaretic degrees was described as being like standing in the doorway between two adjoining rooms (A and B) - about to enter B, having not yet fully extinguished a cigarette that is still burning in an ashtray in room A. I have natal Uranus at 29Gemini45, in 9th house but conjunct 29Gemini56 MC. ... In the workplace (10th house with Cancer intercepted), I was a manager who was over-protective of the staff in my team - smothering them, rather than helping them to move beyond the boundaries/limitations of their Saturn conditioning. Then, around the age of 40, it dawned on me that the still-burning-cigarette (of Uranus in Gemini/9th) was my failure to see the role of a manager as being to pass on his/her skills to others - thus enabling the team to no longer need him/her. It's pretty simple and straightforward. It will be predominantly Pisces, with a bit of Aries shading in. What this actually translates to in real life will be different for different people according to their whole charts and how they use their spiritual will. Speaking in a very general sense, the emotions are going to be a bit more energized over earlier Pisces Moon, as well as a bit more go getting, more initiating, a bit more extroverted, a bit more self focused, and a bit more logic/"left brain"/analytical oriented in nature (after all, Aries rules the head). So while there will be the feeling and psychic sensitivity of Pisces and the tendency towards confusion at times from the various different wavelengths being picked up on, largely unconsciously, it will be a bit more balanced by the head (conscious logic/reason) in this case. If mid Pisces is a true violet, and mid Aries is a true red, then from any kind of blend, we will get a purple to reddish purple of some sort. The strong mixing/blending of Pisces and Aries, kind of gives a Sagittarius like flavor and vibe in some respects. It's very hard to explain these kinds of impressions and understanding in concrete terms though. It's a different level and layer of astrology that many don't even consider, let alone delve deeply into. But everything is relative vibration, and vibration/wavelengths/frequency can be understood and perceived in many different ways from color/auras, astrology, numerology, chakras/glands, different dimensions/consciousness states, etc, etc. And it's ALL interrelated. When one begins to connect the dots between all the different branches, one begins to start to see things in different lights and on different levels at time, and much more holistically (take a drink/shot). And the interesting thing you learn is that you can mix and match different energies, to get a similar result or "color", even though you are using different symbols. It will never be exactly the same, but can become pretty similar.
