What are your opinions on the supposed operation of malefics? Do you consider it to be a part of outdated astrological mumbo-jumbo?

They outline our challenges and major lessons, some of which can be described using the term 'karma', a proper understanding of which will replace outmoded terms like 'fate'.

Mars in hard or inharmonious aspects shows a pattern in soul history of over using aggression or anger. Saturn in hard or inharmonious aspect shows where limitation needs to be accepted, where greater substance or strength is needed.

People who speak in terms of 'fate' are projecting onto circumstances karmic situations rather than seeing their part in them and their way through them.

The only lesson is Unconditional Love.

I'm a Fatalist.
I can not change my Fate.
All I need is Luck and nothing else.
God gave me almost every raw materials except Luck. Saturn Conjunct Mars in 5th House.

I'm also a fatalist and looks like other people support my point of view - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aQJjn-gekn4 :-)

I personally don't like the term 'malefic'.

An overuse of the expansion energy of Jupiter can lead to as much "malefic" action as anything we assume comes directly from Mars or Saturn.

If you've not yet learned the unity of opposites as illustrated in the universal symbol of Tai Chi then it won't make sense, but within Yang is the seed of Yin, within Yin is the seed of Yang.

That means there is no thing that is absolutely evil or absolutely good. There are lessons and potentials within the so-called malefic planets that can be developed into beneficials. Even within darkness there is light and even light creates shadow.

My Mars/Saturn conjunction in Scop 10th house, I can quite honestly say, is the saviour and pure essence of me.

Without this energy, I would not have been able to achieve what I have and build the life that I have for my family!and myself. They will never have to worry about money and they have a father and husband that will literally fight to the death for them, and I have never been more serious about that.

For sure it’s a hard energy to deal with, it’s taken me years to make friends with it. I am so hard to handle to times, but I have such a high tolerance for risk and pressure; you can’t have your ‘cake and eat it’ with this aspect.
