I found this info on a Chinese astrology site and translated it below. Ignore the past life stuff if you don't believe it like me, but I included them to give a more complete interpretation.The best placements for composite North Node are 4, 5, 7, 8, 10 as they really give the couple a shared purpose.
The worst placements are 6, 12 as these are heavily karmic so the relationship may not turn out well even if the couple managed to stay together. 11 is also bad because the couple involved may feel all lovey-dovey but realised that they don't suit each other and are better off as friends.
