At what age did you begin to feel more at home in your NN energy? It’s harder for me to decipher as I have moon conjunct my SN and Mars conjunct my NN. I feel at 32 I’m only now at the tipping point, I’m also suddenly SURROUNDED by Aries (my NN sign). IP: Logged |

About 30 is when you have a Saturn return. I think with that considered, it makes sense to be more conscious of the behaviors we need to change or work towards cultivating. At 32 you’ll experience a square from the transiting nodes. You can read more about it in the link I posted below.
I have moon conjunct my SN too. It rules my NN. I don’t really understand it either. IP: Logged |

You have a second nodal return. The first is around age 18. http://www.tdjacobs.com/2018/07/22/nodal-returns-squares-and-reverse-returns/ IP: Logged |

Oh right, yes the square is currently less than 1 degree. Feeling it! Thanks for pointing that out, I’ll check out the link now. IP: Logged |

I usually hear it kicks in after age 30 (though I'd say 25 is when you start feeling the SN 'shedding', stress sets in, etc, and then by 27 you're REALLY feeling the pressure of Saturn, which is getting you ready for that NN life). I'd think that the Saturn Return is what shapes you up to fully go after not just your NN but have a decent balance between the NN and SN to go forward with. It could also depend on how it's aspected in your chart. Someone who has the NN heavily aspecting a lot of personal planets (or SN, etc) would probably feel the effects of needing to balance out earlier on in life. eg: sn conjunct chiron, nn trine descendant -- balancing the wounds from life with how every interaction is handled from a very young age. I never have. (Felt more comfortable with MC - which makes me feel like it's all rubbish). Sag? No. Feel no connection remotely there. Gem? Yes. IP: Logged |

I have North Node in Capricorn and South Node in Cancer. Because of mental health issues and how I grew up, I've always been more at home with my North Node, but I also think I love my North Node too much. After my Saturn Return, it'll probably become easier to progress with my career as a writer. For some time now, I have suspected I'm a late bloomer when it comes to my career.IP: Logged |

Funny I was about to open a NN/SN themed thread but I'll just answer here. I have NN in Leo and I started realising that I need to be focussing more on my own self from the age of 21. I remember when I was a child I was very giving with my stuff but I also thought that other people's stuff belongs to me as well as mine to them so when I was on the beach I reached for some stranger's lilo to sit on because of this logic. My dad explained to me then that I can't just take other people's stuff haha. I think this attitude (having no sense of ownership) is very Aquarian (my South Node).IP: Logged |

I grew up with NN and SN - constantly being moved, and also a big reader, I guess. I got stuck in the SN when we stopped moving. Actually, not entirely: when we last moved, to where I've been for twenty years now, I also stopped drawing and painting. I stopped what my artwork. I was depressed, and got more into computer life/the internet.IP: Logged |

Well, I am still far far away from my NN in Aries. I don't have problems attractiny any fire sign or Aries. I have Leo Asc, Sun-Jupiter-NN-Mc in Aries and Sat/Ura in Sag. (No grand trine. The degrees are way far from each other) For whatever reason, I love staying in my SN Libra and Pisces Venus. Probably my Venus being in 8th house with a trine to Pluto and my moon/mars conjunction in Taurus make it harder to let go.IP: Logged |

You’re welcome! I think the best part of the article is the conclusion. The author says: “Your entire life as a human is a series of learning opportunities. Transits of the nodal axis are just one part of a vast tapestry of transits that will nudge (or push) you along your evolutionary path.” Did you know a midlife crisis usually coincides with a opposition of transit Uranus to natal Uranus? I think the “whens” and “whys” somewhat depend on your unique chart and your specific life’s lessons or personal journey. IP: Logged |

The ruler of your SN is exalted in Pisces whereas your NN ruler is in detriment in Taurus. On top of that, Venus disposes your Mars. That could have something to do with your experience. IP: Logged |

NN in the 2nd and SN in the 8th. 2nd house is ruled by the sun which is in the 9th and the 8th is ruled by Uranus which is in the 5th. What does that mean? IP: Logged |

I started feeling a yearning for it when I was a child. I'm currently in my twenties and do not feel comfortable with the NN energy at all yet. In fact, the idea frightens me -- Sun opposing it and all. However, I am working hard in hopes of reaching it one day. I just hope I won't struggle too much with the push-pull factor.IP: Logged |

i've always been comfortable with aries energy, but i have an aries moon/descendant too (my fiancee has an aries moon/north node and we've been close more than half our lives)don't really have any libras or people with libra energy in my life aside from my mother and older brother though in spite of that being my ascendant/venus/south node it's just never drawn me in

Hmmm, come to think of it I don’t really have anyone with Libra placements (my SN) in my life at all, the only exception is my father who was born on the date after mine (we are both aqua sun libra moon). Generally I don’t enjoy Libra’s. Probably one of my least favourite signs. I was in serious relationships all throughout my 20s but now I’m feeling less of that yearning to merge and more of a desire to find someone who can compliment my Aqua/Aries (NN Mars conj) independence. I am beginning to feel quite protective over my independence where as before I felt an almost inability to function without partnership.

i just don't tend to meet them, the last libra i knew (aside from my mother and brother) was this chick i worked with who would nonstop grope me, didn't care for her but generally speaking i just don't end up really spending a lot of time with them my north node is 7th house, and i'm really used to being in relationships but i like and need a certain level of breathing room and openness i'm not a full on monogamy person and i like a person who has their own interests and views etc i haven't been single since hs, but my fiancee has her own goals and things she wants out of life that are for her and i like that about her
