I have Sun in the 4th house conjunct my IC exact.

I'm a homebody that is very introverted and introspective. I spend a lot of time in my inner world understanding myself and what's really going on inside of me and have a hard time connecting with other people. I'm very reserved and often don't put myself out there often.

I think a lot of this placement has to do with being in touch with yourself, finding your inner power and knowing who you truly are on the inside.

I agree with Electro DGX.

But I think one should look at where the Sun is placed. Sun in Scorpio in the 4th house for instance will have a differing interpretation from Sun in Aries there.

One should also consider that with the above two, Pluto and Mars have their influence on the outcome by sign ridership.

Sun in Scorpio in 4th-similar to Pluto/Sun- has very strong feelings about home or the home-life. The parents may have been the types to withhold things from the native/condition them emotionally or keep secrets pertaining to identity etc. and when the native comes to discover what these secrets were , it changes the relationship dynamics irrevocably.

There is a Pluto/Sun individual in 4th I know who discovered at 15 years that he was a child born from rape. His mother was raped, his biological father convicted and bis stepfather assumed the role of his father from birth.

With Sun/Mars in 4th, the homelife could have been typically under stress or threat of loss of security. Perhaps there was physical violence in the home or the home burned down? etc.

These experiences likely impacted on the individual's sense of identity i.e she may come to understand that the world is not "safe" or that "emotional security" is only but an illusion-thereby being the type to "toughen up" and become emotionally resilient etc.
