I recently found out I have “Thor’s Hammer” in my chart with Neptune at the apex. Does anyone have experience with Thor’s Hammer in their own chart or knows how it expresses itself?

It probably won't express itself. Based on what I've read from IQ, these asteroids based in myth are only relevant to you if you have a past life related to that culture, or if you resonate with that culture more than is common.

Most asteroids will never have an affect on your life, especially if you don't reach a certain level of soul development.

I’m a little confused about your reply. I believe Thor’s Hammer is a sesiquadrabt triangle pattern in a chart. My Mars squares my Sun/moon conjunction then Neptune sesiquadrates that being the Apex. There are no asteroids involved. Unless you are referring to the name Thor’s Hammer? Could you clarify?

LOL, nvmd. I thought you were talking about an asteroid. I have no idea then.

Sesquiquadrates and squares typically aren't considered easy aspects though.

Thanks though! Lol

Yeah I think it’s typically a more negative pattern but wondering if someone on here has it as well and can tell me anything about it. I’ve read that people with this pattern recieve a lot of outside criticism and wonder if that’s true.

I have one in my chart too. From what I've gathered, it's like a Saturnian aspect, but much heavier. People with this aspect are typically extremely resilient, with the ability to overcome almost anything. It normally involves the person hitting some kind of rough patch in their life, but they can persevere through it and never give up. Only those with the right fortititude will receive the gift of the hammer in the end.

Supposedly, the apex point is what you need to focus on in order to overcome the hardship. For you, it would have to do with your Neptune. Admittedly, there isn't very much on this aspect out there, so I don't have as much info as I'd like in order to provide a thorough analysis, but this is how I personally connect the aspect to my own life. For me, it involves two sesquiquadrates from a Saturn and Pluto square with Venus as the apex point. Since my Venus is in Cancer on the 4th house cusp, involving myself with Venusian activities that is perhaps in the realm of the arts and is emotionally stimulating to me would aid in times of extreme hardship. This placement is also ingrained in who I am as a person, something I have a natural talent for, but something I do behind scenes and kept private (Venus conjunct Sun, South Node, and IC). And since Saturn and Pluto are both involved in this aspect, keeping a steady schedule in place so I can make something productive out of it but with some originality (Saturn in Aquarius), and perhaps even obsessively (Pluto in Scorpio) to the point where I can actually earn a living from it some day and potentially become recognized for it (Venus opposite Midheaven and North Node), is when I can actually make something of myself. As long as I persevere through it all, I can come out stronger and more successful than I had ever imagined.

(Please no quoting)

Thank you for this! Giving a description from a personal standpoint helps me better understand. So the Venus for you is like an outlet for your square? I’ve always felt Neptune like and am trying to figure out better why because it is not strong in my chart but maybe this is a reason why. Plus being in the 6th house can effect my every day feelings/actions.

I have this aspect pattern between Mercury, Jupiter, and Uranus and also between Mercury, Jupiter, and Neptune (I have the Uranus-Neptune conjunction). The apex in both is Jupiter, but unfortunately, when I was doing research on Thor's Hammer, there wasn't much information on it to find. It's disappointing, because it's supposedly not an easy aspect pattern to have in your chart and I'd love to know how it relates to my hardships and difficulties.

Yes agreed. I’d love to know more about it. I’ve read it’s negative too but not exactly sure how. I can take a guess how it might play out in my own chart. The square in my pattern is between mars and sun/moon conjunction. This can create impulsive reactions and abrupt anger. Ive suppressed this anger at times which can turn into depression but almost in a hazy “lost” way. I can see this being the Neptune apex to my suppressed anger from the square. Not sure if this makes sense? Lol but taking a guess.
