Yes, 154° is a triseptile (7th harmonic septile 51°26' x 3 = 154.3°). So the quincunx gets an orb of about 3° max, 147-153°, possibly shorter on the long side because of the triseptile.BUT it can depend on the way the Moon's position is calculated. So if you use a chart made by astro.com you can check the box for 'topocentric positions' (on Extended Chart Selection page, right side), you'll probably see the Moon's position change a little. It can change up to 1°. So long as your Asc figure is pretty accurate (within 2-3°), this should give you a Moon position accurate enough to know if you've got the quincunx to Saturn or not. Even with 1° difference putting the orb at 3.5° it is out of range in my observations. ------------------ "Drift like a cloud and flow like water, seeing that all life is a magnificent illusion, a playing of energy, and there is absolutely nothing fundamentally to be afraid of." -- Alan Watts Soul Stars Astrology by The Declinations Guy Expert Rectification IP: Logged |

Thank you Kannon. I did check with topocentric check and it was 1 degree closer so 3.5. But on the lesser side of so 146.5. The descriptions online I relate to so maybe it’s right on the cusp? IP: Logged |

Interesting. Could be. It may also be that your correct Asc is a bit earlier than suggested by the birth time you are using, in which case the Moon's position would be a bit earlier too. Moon moves roughly 1° average for each sign that passes over the Asc. So half a sign back may move the Moon back half a degree or so -- which in your case would make the aspect a 144° biquintile.
